Chetna
''Chetna'' () is a 1970 Bollywood drama film directed by B.R. Ishara. The film stars Shatrughan Sinha, Anil Dhawan and Rehana Sultan. The film focuses on the subject of rehabilitation of prostitutes. However, the film is more famous for its bold scenes of the actress Rehana Sultan. The film virtually ended her film career as she was typecast thereafter. Anil Dhawan
Anil Dhawan is an Indian actor who appears in Hindi films and television. He made his acting debut with the film ''Chetna'' (1970) followed by '' Piya Ka Ghar'' (1971). He is also known for his 2018 film Andhadhun. Now turned activist, Dhawan was part of Anna Hazare camp in his crusade against corruption in Indian public life. Early life Dhawan belongs to Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. His father, Madan Lal Dhawan, was AGM in UCO Bank, who came to India from Peshawar, Pakistan in around 1947. Rehana Sultan
Rehana Sultan (born 19 November 1950) is an Indian actress best known for her debut role in the acclaimed 1970 film '' Dastak'' which won her the National Film Award for Best Actress. A graduate of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, she is also known for another bold role in the film '' Chetna'' (1970), which got her typecast thus ending her film career, despite its promising start. Asit Sen (13 May 1917 – 18 September 1993) was an Indian film director turned famous comedian in the Hindi film industry. He directed 2 films and starred in over 200 films between 1953 and 1993 until his death. As an actor/comedian, he often portrayed a character with authority, such as a police inspector or landlord, but with comic effect, mostly as a slow-speaking person. His acting career was particularly prolific in the 1960s, 1970s, and early 1980s. He had a very thin voice, in striking contrast to his huge physical frame and spoke his dialogues at a slow pace. Shatrughan Prasad Sinha (born 9 December 1945) is an Indian actor and politician. He is a Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from Asansol constituency as a member of All India Trinamool Congress (TMC). Mukesh Chand Mathur (22 July 1923 – 27 August 1976), better known mononymously as Mukesh, was an Indian playback singer.
