8 Flavahz is an all-female dance crew originally based in both Honolulu, Hawaii and Los Angeles, California. They are best known for being the runners-up of the seventh season of MTV's ''America's Best Dance Crew''. Benny Medina (born January 24, 1958) is an American record executive, talent manager, and television producer. Early life and education Medina was born in East Los Angeles, California, of Dominican parents into a poor family. The death of his mother and abandonment by his father resulted in him being placed into a number of foster homes, which he repeatedly ran away from before he and his siblings were taken in by his aunt. In his early teenage years, Medina dealt cannabis and amphetamines. The Kings is an Indian hip-hop dance group from Vasai, a city in Maharashtra. They won NBC'S ''World of Dance'' and came third at World Hip Hop Dance Championship. Shantanu Maheshwari (born 7 March 1991) is an Indian actor, dancer, choreographer and host. He debuted with the show '' Dil Dosti Dance'' on Channel V in his breakthrough performance as the protagonist Swayam Shekhawat. Desi Hoppers (also known as Desi Hoppers Dance Crew) is a hip-hop dance crew from Mumbai, India. Desi Hoppers were formed in 2015, with originally seven members. In their debut year, Desi Hoppers won the World of Dance Championships in Los Angeles. The crew created history by being the first Indian dance team representing the country in World of Dance (WOD) and later emerging as winners.
