''What If We Were Real'' is the fourth studio album by CCM singer Mandisa. The album was released on April 5, 2011 on Sparrow Records. This album received a nomination at 54th Grammy Awards for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album. Background Mandisa began work on the album in July 2010. She also co-wrote three songs on the album. The album also features a guest appearance from tobyMac on the song "Good Morning". Singles The first single off of the album was "Stronger". It peaked at number one on the Hot Christian Songs chart and as of August 31, 2011, has sold 194,000 copies. "Waiting for Tomorrow" was the second single and peaked at number nine on the Hot Christian AC chart. "Good Morning" featuring Christian artist TobyMac was the third single. It sold 138,000 copies. Mandisa Lynn Hundley (born October 2, 1976), known professionally as Mandisa, is an American gospel and contemporary Christian recording artist. Her career began as a contestant in the fifth season of ''American Idol'', in which she finished in ninth place. She is the fifth ''American Idol'' alumna to win a Grammy Award, for her album '' Overcomer'' in the Best Contemporary Christian Music Album category. Early life Mandisa Hundley was born and raised in Citrus Heights, California. Hot Christian Songs is a music chart published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine in the United States. It ranks the popularity of Christian songs using the same methodology developed for the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, the magazine's flagship songs chart, by incorporating data from the sales of downloads, streaming data, and airplay across all monitored radio stations. From its inception in June 2003 through November 2013, the Hot Christian Songs chart ranked the top songs only by overall audience impressions of songs played on contemporary Christian music radio stations.
