Voltron
''Voltron'' is an animated television series franchise that features a team of space explorers who pilot a giant Super Robot known as "Voltron". Produced by Peter Keefe (Executive Producer) and Ted Koplar through his production company World Events Productions, Voltron was an adaptation of several Japanese anime television series from Toei Animation. The original television series aired in syndication from September 10, 1984, to November 18, 1985. The first season of ''Voltron'', featuring the "Lion Force Voltron", was adapted from the series '' Beast King GoLion''. Voltron Force
''Voltron Force'' is a pseudo-sequel to the 1980s animated series ''Voltron (1984 TV series), Voltron'' that was originally scheduled for a release in autumn of 2010. Eventually, the show premiered on June 16, 2011, exclusively on the Nicktoons (American TV channel), Nicktoons television network to coincide with the premiere of the second season of ''Iron Man: Armored Adventures''. It ended on April 25, 2012, with the episode "Black". Unlike the original ''Voltron'' series, the uniforms of the lions' pilots are of the same color scheme as their respective lions; the second ''Voltron'' series to do so after ''Voltron: The Third Dimension''. is a mecha anime and manga, mecha anime series aired in Japan from 1982 to 1983. It is also referred to as ''Dairugger 15'', ''Dairugger XV'', ''Armored Armada Dairugger XV'', ''Armored Squadron Dairugger XV'', or ''Machine Platoon Dairugger''. Voltron (comics)
Voltron is the name of two past comic book series and one current series published by different companies. Both previous series are based on the television series Voltron. Voltron is the name of the robot that the main characters pilot to fight evil in space. The series stars five young soldiers who are recruited to find the title character in deep space, and to use Voltron to defend the galaxy. Beast King GoLion
is a Japanese super robot anime television series. The animation from ''GoLion'' was edited and trimmed to create the version of the American '' Voltron: Defender of the Universe'' series, with new names and dialogue. In 2008, ''GoLion'' was released on Region 1 DVD in three volumes.
