The Utah Transit Authority (UTA) is a special service district responsible for providing public transportation throughout the Wasatch Front of Utah, in the United States, which includes the metropolitan areas of Ogden, Park City, Provo, Salt Lake City and Tooele. It operates fixed route buses, flex route buses, express buses, ski buses, three light rail lines in Salt Lake County ( TRAX), a streetcar line in Salt Lake City ( the S-Line), and a commuter rail train (''FrontRunner'') from Ogden through Salt Lake City to Provo. UTA is headquartered in Salt Lake City with operations and garages in locations throughout the Wasatch Front, including Ogden, Midvale and Orem. 2700 West Sugar Factory Road, sometimes referred to as simply 2700 West, is a light rail station in the West Jordan, Utah, in the United States, served by the Red Line of the Utah Transit Authority's (UTA) TRAX light rail system. Utah Valley Express
Utah Valley Express, also known as UVX, is a bus rapid transit (BRT) line in central Utah County, Utah, United States. The line is operated by the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) and runs between southwest Orem to south central Provo by way of Utah Valley University (UVU) and Brigham Young University (BYU). It began service with a soft opening on August 13, 2018 while the station platforms were being finished and was formally opened on January 9, 2019. It is the second of several BRT lines that UTA has or is planning in Utah County and the Salt Lake Valley. MAX (Utah Transit Authority)
MAX is a bus rapid transit (BRT) service operated by Utah Transit Authority (UTA) along the Wasatch Front in Utah, United States. It is described by UTA as " light rail on rubber tires". As of August 2022 there is line in service in Utah County, one discontinued line in Salt Lake County, two new routes planned for Salt Lake County, and one under construction in Weber County. Description MAX has service improvements that differ from regular bus service, such as Transit Signal Priority (TSP), increased spacing between stops, high-frequency service, and improved stops. MAX lines have limited stops (often at major transfer points). Whenever reasonably possible, MAX operates along dedicated busways, separated from regular traffic. West Valley Central Station
West Valley Central station (also called the West Valley Intermodal Hub) is a light rail station in West Valley City, Utah served by the Green Line of the Utah Transit Authority's (UTA) TRAX light rail system. The Green Line provides service from the Salt Lake City International Airport to this station (via Downtown Salt Lake City). Description The TRAX portion of the station is located at 2750 West Lehman Avenue (3590 South) with the two side platforms being situated immediately south of and parallel to that street. Provo Central station is an intermodal transit station in Provo, Utah, United States. It is served by the Utah Transit Authority's (UTA) FrontRunner commuter rail line as well as local, intra-county, and interstate buses. Orem Central Station
Orem Central station is an intermodal transportation station in Orem, Utah. It is served by the Utah Transit Authority's (UTA) '' FrontRunner'' train, which operates along the Wasatch Front with service from Ogden to Provo. Local bus lines and the Utah Valley Express also service the station. The station is also referred to as Orem Intermodal Center, Orem Central Station, or Orem CRST by UTA. The Ogden Intermodal Transit Center is a commuter rail train and bus station in Ogden, Utah, United States. It is served by the '' FrontRunner'', Utah Transit Authority's (UTA) commuter rail train, as well as UTA local and commuter bus service, and Greyhound Lines long-distance bus service. Description The Ogden Intermodal Transit Center is frequently referred to by various names, even by UTA itself, with the ''Ogden Intermodal Center'' being the most common alternative.
