Tug Of War
Tug of war (also known as tug o' war, tug war, rope war, rope pulling, or tugging war) is a sport that pits two teams against each other in a test of strength: teams pull on opposite ends of a rope, with the goal being to bring the rope a certain distance in one direction against the force of the opposing team's pull. Terminology The ''Oxford English Dictionary'' says that the phrase "tug of war" originally meant "the decisive contest; the real struggle or tussle; a severe contest for supremacy". Only in the 19th century was it used as a term for an athletic contest between two teams who haul at the opposite ends of a rope. Prior to that, ''French and English'' was the commonly used name for the game in the English-speaking world. Origin The origins of tug of war are uncertain, but this sport was practised in Cambodia, ancient Egypt, Greece, India and China. According to a Tang dynasty book, ''The Notes of Feng'', tug of war, under the name "hook pulling" (牽鉤), was used b ...

The lyrics have been interpreted as a description of his complex relationship with Lennon, who was Death of John Lennon, killed two years prior. ''Cash Box'' said that the song is "an intriguing mix of the acoustic and the symphonic," saying that "guitar blends with strings while Paul sings of the constant push and pull in our present lives and a more optimistic 'time to come' when 'we will be dancing to the beat played on a different drum.'" Tug Of War (astronomy)
The tug of war in astronomy is the ratio of planetary and solar attractions on a natural satellite. The term was coined by Isaac Asimov in ''The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction'' in 1963. Law of universal gravitation According to Isaac Newton's law of universal gravitation : F= G\cdot \frac In this equation :F is the force of attraction :G is the gravitational constant :m1 and m2 are the masses of two bodies :d is the distance between the two bodies The two main attraction forces on a satellite are the attraction of the Sun and the satellite's primary (the planet the satellite orbits). Therefore, the two forces are : F_p= \frac : F_s= \frac where the subscripts ''p'' and ''s'' represent the primary and the sun respectively, and ''m'' is the mass of the satellite. The ratio of the two is : \frac = \frac Example Callisto is a satellite of Jupiter Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun and the largest in the Solar System. It is a gas giant with ...

Double Planet
In astronomy, a double planet (also binary planet) is a binary satellite system where both objects are planets, or planetary-mass objects, that share an orbital axis external to both planetary bodies. Although up to a third of the star systems in the Milky Way are binary, double planets are expected to be much rarer given the typical planet to satellite mass ratio is around 1:10000, they are influenced heavily by the gravitational pull of the parent star and according to the Giant-impact hypothesis and are gravitationally stable only under particular circumstances. Binary asteroids with components of roughly equal mass are sometimes referred to as double minor planets. These include binary asteroids 69230 Hermes and 90 Antiope and binary Kuiper belt objects (KBOs) 79360 Sila–Nunam and . At its 2006 General Assembly, the International Astronomical Union considered a proposal that Pluto and Charon be reclassified as a double planet, but the proposal was abandoned in favor ...
