Tsukihime
is a Japanese adult visual novel created by the dōjin circle Type-Moon, who first released it at the Winter Comiket in December 2000. In 2003, it was adapted into both an anime television series, ''Lunar Legend Tsukihime'', animated by J.C.Staff, and a manga series, which was serialized between 2003 and 2010 in MediaWorks shōnen magazine '' Dengeki Daioh'', with 10 volumes released. Several other related media have also been released, including the bonus disc ''Tsukihime Plus-Disc'', a fan disc '' Kagetsu Tohya'' and the fighting game series '' Melty Blood''. Story concepts and characters shared many similarities with other Type Moon's series '' The Garden of Sinners'', and the two were also subtly connected. A remake with updated art and story was announced in 2008. Melty Blood
, sometimes shortened as , is a series of 2D visual novel fighting games, co-developed by dōjin circles Type-Moon and French-Bread as the meta-sequel of the Type-Moon's first visual novel ''Tsukihime''. The first game was originally released at Comiket in December 2002, and later spawned multiple sequels, such as an arcade version titled ''Act Cadenza'', developed by Ecole Software, which has also been ported to the PlayStation 2, the first Type-Moon title to receive a console release. A manga series, written and illustrated by Takeru Kirishima, was first serialized in Kadokawa Shoten manga magazine Comp Ace in 2006. The series ended in 2011 with nine bound volumes released in Japan. Kagetsu Tohya
is a fan disc meta-sequel to dojin visual novel game, ''Tsukihime'', released on August 13, 2001, by Type-Moon. On April 18, 2002, Inside-Cap released an officially licensed program for Windows 98/ Me/ 2000/ XP that allowed customers to convert their PC copy of ''Kagetsu Tohya'' into a Gameboy Advance rom for on the go playing; the program was distributed via CD-ROM through retail and online shops. Gameplay ''Kagetsu Tohya'' consists of ''Twilight Glass Moon, Fairy Tale Princess'', a main scenario with many branches, ''Ten Nights of Dream'' several short stories that are unlocked one after another after certain related events in the main story have been read and ''Summer Festival'' a short scenario that is unlocked after the completing the main story. ''The Garden of Sinners'', known in Japan as sometimes referred to as , is a Japanese light novel series, written by Kinoko Nasu and illustrated by Takashi Takeuchi. is a comedy OVA series based on Eri Takenashi's Type-Moon gag manga, . It focuses on absurd situations happening to each characters of ''Fate/stay night'', ''Melty Blood'' and ''Tsukihime''. It is followed by a spiritual sequel known as '' Fate/Grand Carnival''. Plot The Ahnenerbe is a pub temporarily appearing among parallel worlds. is a Japanese shōnen manga magazine published by ASCII Media Works (formerly MediaWorks) under the ''Dengeki'' brand. Many manga serialized in ''Dengeki Daioh'' were later published in ''tankōbon'' volumes under ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Comics imprint. The magazine is sold every month on the 27th. A yonkoma section of ''Dengeki Daioh'' called features various omake strips of the manga series published in it.
