JML Direct TV is a generic name for a series of British shopping channels broadcasting on the Sky, Freesat and Freeview platforms, owned by JML Direct Limited. JML Direct TV originally launched on Sky channel 664, on 1 October 2002 as JML Direct. Due to various Sky EPG reshuffles, this original channel is located on channel 661 . Channels JML owns and run a TV channel on SKY 661 and freesat 806. Development of the network Following on from the launch of the original JML Direct channel, there have been a number of changes and expansions of the JML lineup. The majority of these changes have affected channels on the Sky platform, but some JML channels have also been made available on Freesat and Freeview and details of these operations are also listed below. EeZee Tv
eeZee tv was a live British shopping channel broadcasting on Sky Digital. The channel launched on 1 March 2005. History In September 2004, it was first announced that JML and Kleeneze were going to team up and launch a new channel, under the name of eeZee tv, which was going to replace JML's own channel. At 10:00 on 1 March 2005, eeZee tv officially launched, showing a mix of JML and Kleeneze products ranging from Homewares to Beauty, for 16 hours a day. During the remaining hours it was off air, it showed pre-recorded material. The channel used a fixed price format, which was similar to other UK shopping channels, such as QVC and Ideal World. On Friday 25 November 2005, eeZee tv ceased live broadcast and reverted to pre-recorded material. In March 2007, after the removal of live broadcasting and lack of sales. ITV Digital Channels Limited (formerly known as Granada Sky Broadcasting) is a wholly owned subsidiary of British broadcaster ITV plc. It manages all of the company's television channels with the exception of ITV, which is part of the entire network. Channel M
Channel M was a regional television station, serving Greater Manchester. The station, originally known as ''Manchester Student Television'', was owned and operated by the GMG Regional Media division of Guardian Media Group. Coverage Originally an RSL station, Channel M was primarily available free-to-air on terrestrial in parts of Greater Manchester. In 2004 Channel M launched on the NTL (now part of Virgin Media) digital cable platform, around Greater Manchester, mid-Lancashire and Cheshire. In April 2006 Channel M launched on digital satellite, the first RSL channel to do so, where it was broadcast free-to-air across Western Europe from Astra 28.2°E and was available on Sky. Movie Mix was a television channel that was originally available through the Freeview platform, initially as a live-quiz service under the name of The Big Deal in July 2009 before being turned into a movie channel in December 2012. On 10 January 2017, the network was replaced with Sony Movie Channel, which Movie Mix already broadcast similar programming to. Gems TV was a jewellery manufacturer and reverse auction TV shopping network headquartered in Chanthaburi, Thailand. It began its operations in October 2004 in the UK, and then expanded to Germany, America, Japan and China. Gems TV was formed from the merger of Thaigem Limited and Eagle Road Studios, which formed Gems TV UK Limited, which eventually became a subsidiary of Gems TV Holdings Limited when the company expended to other countries. For the fiscal year ending 30 June 2009, revenues amounted to $162.16 million, down 31% from the previous year, with a gross profit of $53 million.
