Betty becomes the victim of such pranks as shaking a false hand and getting squirted in the face. Betty calls on Grampy for help, and he quickly rigs his apartment to counteract Irving's pranks and send him on his way. Irving gets the last laugh, when Grampy lights the candle on the cake. Irving replaced the candle with a firecracker before he left. That last laugh is short-lived, however, when the picture of a warship that Irving is standing next to shoots water at him continuously. Dave Fleischer
Dave Fleischer (; July 14, 1894 – June 25, 1979) was an American film director and producer, best known as a co-owner of Fleischer Studios with his older brother Max Fleischer. He was a native of New York City. Biography Fleischer was the youngest of five brothers and grew up in Brownsville, Brooklyn, a poor Jewish neighbourhood. By the time he was born, his father had lost his means of livelihood due to the mass production of garments. Fleischer worked as an usher at the Palace Theater on Broadway, where he was exposed to vaudeville. This experience contributed to the development of his sense for gags and comic timing, which came into play when he joined forces with his older brother, Max in the production of animated cartoons. At one point, the family lived in Coney Island, and he became interested in being a clown for one of the sideshow amusements. "My Three Suns" is episode seven in season one of '' Futurama'', which originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on May 4, 1999. The plot focuses on Fry as he becomes emperor of an alien world, only to find himself in need of rescue when the previous emperor is discovered to be not really dead. This episode features the first appearance of TV chef Elzar, and a cold opening in which Bender goes through an automatic "Bot Wash" facility, to the tune of Rose Royce's song "Car Wash", only to get rained on after exiting. ''House Cleaning Blues'' is a 1937 Fleischer Studios animated short film starring Betty Boop, and featuring Grampy. Synopsis Betty wakes up in the morning after her birthday party. The house is a shamble, and Betty is not looking forward to cleaning up. She sings the title song while struggling with her chores. Grampy shows up to take Betty out for a drive, but Betty can't leave until everything is tidy. Grampy literally puts on his thinking cap (a mortarboard with a lightbulb on top), and invents a host of labor-saving devices: a cuckoo clock powered dishwasher, a combination bicycle and floor scrubber, and a player piano that folds laundry. In no time at all, the dancing inventor has the house spic and span, just in time to take Betty for a spin in his automobile (which features a built-in soda fountain). Mae Questel
Mae Questel (born Mae Kwestel, September 13, 1908 – January 4, 1998) was an American actress. She was best known for providing the voices for the animated characters Betty Boop (from 1931) and Olive Oyl (from 1933). She began in vaudeville, primarily working as an impressionist. She later performed on Broadway and in films and television, including her role as Aunt Bethany in ''National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation'' (1989).
