''The Caterer'' is a weekly UK business magazine for hospitality professionals. It covers all areas of the hospitality industry (including restaurants, hotels, foodservice, pubs and bars) providing news, analysis and features about senior industry professionals, businesses and trends. It also includes monthly reviews of the latest hospitality products, from kitchen equipment to food and beverages. History and profile ''Caterer and Hotelkeeper'' (now ''The Caterer''), first issued in 1878, was published by Reed Business Information until 2012, when it was bought by Travel Weekly Group and Jacobs Media Group owner Clive Jacobs. It employs around 30 staff and is based in Victoria, London, UK. It is published by Jacobs Media Group. As of 24 August 2020, the editor is James Stagg. On 2 July 2014, ''Caterer and Hotelkeeper'' rebranded as ''The Caterer''. Heston Marc Blumenthal (; born 27 May 1966) is a British celebrity chef, TV personality and food writer. Alastair Dunbar Storey OBE (born January 1953) is a Scottish businessman. He is the chairman and CEO of Westbury Street Holdings (WSH), a contract catering company, which he founded in 2000. Early life Storey was born in January 1953, in the village of Fyvie, Aberdeenshire, the son of a chartered accountant father who retired at 86. James Trevor Oliver MBE OSI (born 27 May 1975) is an English chef, restaurateur and cookbook author. He is known for his casual approach to cuisine, which has led him to front numerous television shows and open many restaurants. The Wolseley is a restaurant located at 160 Piccadilly in London, England, next to the Ritz Hotel. Designed by the architect William Curtis Green, the Grade II* listed building was erected by Wolseley Motors in 1921 as their regional offices with a ground floor showroom.
