is a railway station in the town of Tatsuno, Kamiina District, Nagano Prefecture, Japan jointly operated by JR Central and JR East. It is managed by JR East. The station also has a freight terminal for the Japan Freight Railway Company (JR Freight). Lines Tatsuno Station is served by the old route of Chūō Main Line (Okaya-Shiojiri branch) and is 9.5 kilometers from the branching point of the line at Okaya Station and 219.9 from the terminus at Tokyo Station. is a railway station in Honchō, Okaya, Nagano Prefecture, Japan, jointly operated by JR Central and JR East. It is managed by JR East. Lines Okaya Station is a terminus of the old route of the Chuo Main Line (Okaya-Shiojiri branch), and is 210.4 km from Tokyo Station. A small number of trains on the Iida Line also continue past the nominal terminus of that line at Tatsuno to stop at this station and the previous Kawagishi Station. Tenryū River
The is a river in central Honshū, Japan. With a length of , it is Japan's ninth longest river. Its source is Lake Suwa in the Kiso Mountains near Okaya in Nagano Prefecture. It then flows through Aichi Prefecture and western Shizuoka Prefecture. Geography The Tenryū River is the only river exiting Lake Suwa. It follows a generally southern course. The upper reaches of the river in the Ina Basin of Nagano Prefecture is a rich agricultural area. The river exits through a gap between the Kiso Mountains (Central Alps) and the Akaishi Mountains (Southern Alps), which forms the border between Shizuoka and Nagano Prefectures . An island platform (also center platform, centre platform) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange. Island platforms are popular on twin-track routes due to pragmatic and cost reasons. They are also useful within larger stations where local and express services for the same direction of travel can be provided from opposite sides of the same platform thereby simplifying transfers between the two tracks. Toyohashi Station
is an interchange railway station in Toyohashi, Aichi, Japan, operated by Central Japan Railway Company (JR Tōkai) and the private railway operator Nagoya Railroad (Meitetsu).
