Supernanny
''Supernanny'' is a British reality television programme about parents struggling with their children's behaviour, mealtime, potty training, etc. The show features professional nanny Jo Frost, who devotes each episode to helping a family where the parents are struggling with child-rearing. Through instruction and observation, she shows parents alternative ways to discipline their children and regain order in their households. Frost is a proponent of the " naughty chair" theory of discipline and is strictly opposed to hitting and spanking. The programme aired on Channel 4 from 7 July 2004 to 8 October 2008. Joanne Frost (born 27 June 1970) is an English television personality, nanny, and author. She is best known for the reality television programme '' Supernanny UK'', in which she was the central figure. It's Me Or The Dog
''It's Me or the Dog'' is an English television program featuring dog trainer Victoria Stilwell who addresses canine behavioral problems (which are often shown putting a strain on interpersonal relationships), teaches responsible dog ownership and promotes dog training techniques based on positive reinforcement. A time-out is a form of behavioral modification that involves temporarily separating a person from an environment where an unacceptable behavior has occurred. The goal is to remove that person from an enriched, enjoyable environment, and therefore lead to extinction of the offending behavior.
