Stuart Milligan
Stuart Milligan is an American actor based primarily in the United Kingdom, best known for his recurring role (1998–2010) as Adam Klaus in ''Jonathan Creek''. Career Milligan has been seen extensively on British television. An early role was Max Sampson in the ATV soap ''Crossroads''. He played a US Navy Drill Instructor in the 1982 black comedy ''Whoops Apocalypse'' (London Weekend Television for ITV), then garnered further TV appearances in ''Chalk'' and '' Secret Army''. He had a brief scene in the 1985 motion picture '' Santa Claus: The Movie'', in which he can be seen seated next to the chairman in the court room at the trial of the character BZ. In 1986 he played "Hanks" who leads the ill-fated salvage team that picks up Ellen Ripley in '' Aliens''. ''Jonathan Creek'' is a long-running British mystery crime drama series produced by the BBC and written by David Renwick. It stars Alan Davies as the titular character, who works as a creative consultant to a stage magician while also solving seemingly supernatural mysteries through his talent for logical deduction and his understanding of illusions. Dirk Maggs
David George Dirk Maggs (born St. Helier, Jersey, February 1955) is a British freelance writer and director. During his career as a Senior Producer in BBC Radio he made radio drama adopting a cinematic-sounding approach, combining filmic story construction, layered sound effects, orchestral music and digital recording technology. Maggs introduced productions in Dolby Surround in BBC Radio and termed the result, "Audio Movies". Maggs studied Drama for a BEd degree from 1974 to 1978 at King Alfred's College, Winchester. The college gained university status in 2005, when he was invited to become one of the first Honorary Fellows of the University of Winchester for his work in the Dramatic Arts. ''Superman On Trial'' To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Superman the BBC produced a docudrama about Metropolis’ superhero. This story was partly based on '' Superman: Last Son of Krypton'' and some early issues of '' Adventures of Superman''. The BBC released an Audiobook production in 2010. Docudrama (or documentary drama) is a genre of television and film, which features dramatized re-enactments of actual events.
