Star Awards 20 (also SA20, Chinese: 红星大奖 20) was a double television award ceremony which was held in Singapore. It is part of the annual Star Awards organised by MediaCorp for the two free-to-air channels, MediaCorp Channels 8 and U. The twentieth installment of ''Star Awards'' was broadcast live on Channel 8, on 20 and 27 April 2014. The first ceremony was held at the MediaCorp TV Theatre while the second ceremony was held at Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre. These ceremonies will also be broadcast on 8 International and the second ceremony on Toggle, Astro AEC (SD) and Astro Quan Jia HD (HD). As with the previous four years, viewers will be able to catch the presentation of the Professional awards (given out to backstage crew and scriptwriters) on Channel 8. Calbee
is a major Japanese snack food maker. It was founded on 30 April 1949, and its headquarters are located in the Marunouchi Trust Tower Main in Marunouchi, Chiyoda, Tokyo. The Dream Makers () is a 30-episode drama serial that aired on MediaCorp Channel 8 from 24 June 2013 to 2 August 2013. The show aired at 9pm on weekdays and had a repeat telecast at 8am the following day. It stars Zoe Tay, Chen Liping, Jeanette Aw, Rui En, Qi Yuwu, Chen Hanwei, Rebecca Lim, Shaun Chen, Guo Liang & Desmond Tan for the casts of this series. Plot Zhou Weiyun heads a variety channel. Star Awards 2016 (also SA2016, Chinese: 红星大奖2016) is a double television award ceremony which is held in Singapore. It is part of the annual Star Awards organised by Mediacorp for free-to-air channels Channels 8 and U. This was the first ''Star Awards'' ceremony to be held on the new campus at Stars Avenue after its relocation happened in December 2015; for the first time since 2009, the technical awards were not broadcast on television. It was part of the annual Star Awards organised by MediaCorp for its Chinese language division ( Channel 8 and Channel U). The awards took place at 26 April 2009 starting at 7pm at MediaCorp Studios, followed by a post-show party airing on Channel U after the ceremony ended. ''The Little Nyonya'' ( zh, c= ) is a 2008 drama serial on Singapore's free-to-air MediaCorp TV Channel 8. The Star Awards (Chinese: 红星大奖) are awards for artistic and technical merit in the media organisation Mediacorp of Singapore where Mediacorp recognises entertainers under their employment for outstanding performances of the year. The awards are given annually in a ceremony. The various category winners are awarded a trophy, with initial designs featuring various star shapes. The star was subsequently removed and the trophy is designed as a S shaped column, depicting the star.
