Schutzstaffel
The ''Schutzstaffel'' (SS; also stylized as ''ᛋᛋ'' with Armanen runes; ; "Protection Squadron") was a major paramilitary organization under Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party in Nazi Germany, and later throughout German-occupied Europe during World War II. It began with a small guard unit known as the ''Saal-Schutz'' ("Hall Security") made up of party volunteers to provide security for party meetings in Munich. In 1925, Heinrich Himmler joined the unit, which had by then been reformed and given its final name. Under his direction (1929–1945) it grew from a small paramilitary formation during the Weimar Republic to one of the most powerful organizations in Nazi Germany. From the time of the Nazi Party's rise to power until the regime's collapse in 1945, the SS was the foremost agency of security, surveillance, and terror within Germany and German-occupied Europe. x86 (also known as 80x86 or the 8086 family) is a family of complex instruction set computer (CISC) instruction set architectures initially developed by Intel based on the Intel 8086 microprocessor and its 8088 variant. The 8086 was introduced in 1978 as a fully 16-bit extension of Intel's 8-bit 8080 microprocessor, with memory segmentation as a solution for addressing more memory than can be covered by a plain 16-bit address. The term "x86" came into being because the names of several successors to Intel's 8086 processor end in "86", including the 80186, 80286, 80386 and 80486 processors. SS was a Japanese hardcore punk band. They were most likely the first Japanese band to play punk rock in a high-speed, minimalist hardcore style comparable to that played by US bands such as Black Flag, Middle Class, and Bad Brains, and indeed SS was contemporaneous with the earliest incarnations of those three bands. SS comprised Tommy SS on vocals, Jun SS on guitar, Tsuyoshi SS on bass, and Takami SS on drums. The entire recorded output of SS consisted of two live albums, both released years after the performances that they immortalized took place: ''The Original SS'', recorded in March 1979, released on vinyl in 1984; and ''SS Live!'', recorded in June 1979, released on CD in 1990. SS Entertainment () was a South Korean record label. It previously represented boy group The Legend, Eun Ji-won and Gilme. History Hip-hop artist and Sechs Kies member Eun Ji-won founded GYM Entertainment in 2009, with singer and rapper Gilme being the first artist to debut under the label. In June 2015, the company was merged with JKSpace Entertainment, under which K-pop boy band The Legend was signed. Following the merge, Eun Ji-won, Gilme and The Legend continued to promote under the new company, SS Entertainment. In January 2016, three of their female trainees, Lee Hae-in, Seo Hye-lin and Lee Su-hyun, competed in the Mnet survival show ''Produce 101''. USB 3.0, released in November 2008, is the third major version of the Universal Serial Bus (USB) standard for interfacing computers and electronic devices. is a manga by Shohei Harumoto which has been serialized in Shogakukan's ''Big Comic Superior'' between 2000 and 2003 over nine volumes. The manga has since been adapted into a live action movie by Toho. Singaporean publisher, Chuang Yi, also translated the manga into both English and Chinese languages under the name "SS: Special Stage" and "SS：赛车手特别篇" (literally "SS: Racer's Special"), respectively. Plot The story revolves around Daibutsu, a middle aged former rally driver who used to participate in the All Japan Rally Championship and now lives with his wife Kumiko and their son.
