Srijato
Srijato Bandopadhyay is an Indian poet of the Bengali language. He won the Ananda Puroskar in 2004 for his book ''Udanta Sawb Joker: All Those Flying Jokers''. In 2014, he won the Filmfare Awards East for Best Lyricist for the song 'Balir Shohor' from '' 'Mishawr Rawhoshyo'''. Srijato’s poetic composition 'Megh Bodoler Kabbi' has been published in International Kolkata Bookfair 2020 along with another novel ''Briksha Onubadak''. Besides writing poems and songs, he also does anchoring and Public Speaking. Recently he made his acting debut in Srijit Mukherji's film ''Zulfiqar''. He has also attended a writer's workshop at the University of Iowa. Early life Srijato was born in a musical family. He lived at Garia and spent his childhood at Kamdohari, Narkelbagan. ''Jaani Dyakha Hawbe'' is a 2011 Bengali film directed by Birsa Dasgupta and produced under the banner of Cine Nine. The film features actors Parambrata Chatterjee and Payel Sarkar in the lead roles. ''Autograph'' is a 2010 Indian Bengali drama film by debutant director Srijit Mukherji. The movie is a tribute to Satyajit Ray's 1966 film '' Nayak'' and yesteryear Bengali actor Uttam Kumar, who portrayed the title role in the film. This was the First of the forthcoming Long Collaboration between Srijit Mukherjee & Prosenjit Chatterjee. The movie is being remade in Malayalam. Plot The film starts with a proposal of remaking Satyajit Ray's famous '' Nayak'' by a debutant director and storywriter Shuvobrata (Indraneil Sengupta) to famous Bengali actor Arun Chatterjee (Prosenjit). ''Mishawr Rawhoshyo'' is a 2013 Indian adventure thriller film directed by Srijit Mukherji, based on the fictional character Kakababu created by Sunil Gangopadhyay. It stars Prosenjit Chatterjee, Indraneil Sengupta, Swastika Mukherjee, Aryann Bhowmik, and many others. Asutosh College ( Bengali: আশুতোষ কলেজ) is a college affiliated to the University of Calcutta, situated in Southern Kolkata, close to the Jatin Das Park Metro Station, gate No. 2. It was established in 1916 as the South Suburban College, under the stewardship of educationist Sir Ashutosh Mukherjee, who was the then vice-chancellor of the University of Calcutta.
