Sinch is an American alternative rock band formed in 1994 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. History The alternative rock quartet, Sinch formed in 1994 while its members were attending different high schools in Doylestown and Willow Grove. To the dismay of parents and the bemusement of friends, the members of Sinch made a pact that upon leaving school they would dedicate themselves to the band rather than pursue college or the military. In 1996 the band self-produced its first album titled, ''The Strychnine'', earning it regular live slots along the East Coast. Two years later, Sinch released its second record titled, ''Diatribe'', which gained them further notoriety and won them supporting slots with major label artists including KoЯn, Rob Zombie, Linkin Park and Chevelle. Doylestown, Pennsylvania
Doylestown is a borough and the county seat of Bucks County in Pennsylvania, United States. It is located northwest of Trenton, north of Center City, Philadelphia, southeast of Allentown, and southwest of New York City. As of the 2020 census, the borough population was 8,300. Chevelle (band)
Chevelle is an American rock band formed in Grayslake, Illinois, in 1995. The band was originally composed of two brothers, Pete Loeffler (lead vocals and guitar) and Sam Loeffler (drums and percussion), along with Matt Scott (bass and backing vocals). Scott was replaced by Sam and Pete's brother, Joe Loeffler, in 1996. When Joe left the band in 2005, Geno Lenardo subbed in as the touring bassist until he was replaced by Pete and Sam's brother-in-law, Dean Bernardini. Bernardini departed from the band in 2019, and in 2021, Kemble Walters joined the band as a touring bassist. The band's first studio album, '' Point #1'', was released on a small record label called Squint Entertainment. Wurlitzer Organ
The Rudolph Wurlitzer Company, usually referred to as simply Wurlitzer, is an American company started in Cincinnati in 1853 by German immigrant (Franz) Rudolph Wurlitzer. The company initially imported stringed, woodwind and brass instruments from Germany for resale in the United States. Wurlitzer enjoyed initial success, largely due to defense contracts to provide musical instruments to the U.S. military. In 1880, the company began manufacturing pianos and eventually relocated to North Tonawanda, New York. It quickly expanded to make fairground organ, band organs, orchestrions, player pianos and pipe organs, pipe or theatre organs popular in theatres during the days of silent movies. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as motor neuron disease (MND) or Lou Gehrig's disease, is a neurodegenerative disease that results in the progressive loss of motor neurons that control voluntary muscles. ALS is the most common type of motor neuron diseases. Early symptoms of ALS include stiff muscles, muscle twitches, and gradual increasing weakness and muscle wasting. ''Limb-onset ALS'' begins with weakness in the arms or legs, while ''bulbar-onset ALS'' begins with difficulty speaking or swallowing. Half of the people with ALS develop at least mild difficulties with thinking and behavior, and about 15% develop frontotemporal dementia. Most people experience pain. ''Hive Mind'' is the third studio album by rock band Sinch, released on March 20, 2012. Background At the start of 2009, Sinch started work on a fan-funded album, since they were no longer supported by a record label. They began recording in June of the same year, but due to the band members also holding down full-time jobs recording would take around 2 years to complete. By August 2011 the album was in the mixing stage and the release was being planned. The album finally saw the light of day as a digital download, available to those that contributed to the making of the album, on March 20, 2012, with a physical version planned to be available before the end of that month.
