The following is a list of characters that first appeared or will appear in the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'' in 2012, by order of first appearance. Cliff Parisi (born Clifford R Manley; 24 May 1960) is an English actor, known for his roles as Minty Peterson in the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'' and Fred Buckle in the BBC period drama ''Call the Midwife''. Brendan Brady
Brendan Brady is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Emmett J. Scanlan. The character was introduced on 5 August 2010 by series producer Paul Marquess during part of the show's overhaul, and became one of ''Hollyoaks'' most popular characters. He is easily recognised by his famous horseshoe moustache. He is the older half-brother of already established character Cheryl Brady (Bronagh Waugh). Following the announcement of Brendan's casting, he was quickly billed as the show's new "bad boy" character. Anna Passey (born 28 August 1984) is an English actress, known for portraying Sienna Blake in the Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks''. For her role as Sienna Blake, she won the award for Villain of the Year at the 2014 British Soap Awards. Career Passey graduated from the Bridge Drama School in London. Passey first started her career in the BBC documentary film ''The Last Flight to Kuwait'' in 2007 opposite Freddie Stroma.
