Salfords railway station serves the village of Salfords in Surrey, England. The station is sometimes shown as Salfords (Surrey) in timetables to differentiate it from the two stations in Salford, Greater Manchester. It is on the Brighton Main Line, down the line from via and is managed by Southern. Train services are provided by Thameslink and Southern. Horley is a town in the borough of Reigate and Banstead in Surrey, England, south of the towns of Reigate and Redhill. The county border with West Sussex is to the south with Crawley and Gatwick Airport close to the town. Burstow is a village and civil parish in the Tandridge district of Surrey, England. Its largest settlement is Smallfield. Honeycrock Farm
Honeycrock Farm in Salfords, Surrey was the subject of a lengthy legal battle to demolish a Mock Tudor family home that was built without planning permission. The action was taken by Reigate and Banstead Borough Council after the site's owner built a large dwelling (c.2001) concealed behind a haystack. The local authority only became aware of the mock castle after the bales were removed in 2004. Known popularly after its owner as "Fidler's Castle", the building was eventually demolished in 2016 following a decade of legal disputes. Earlswood
Earlswood is a suburb of Redhill in Surrey, England, which lies on the A23 between Redhill (in the direction of London) and Horley (next to Gatwick Airport). Earlswood Common is a local nature reserve that separates the suburb from the southern outskirts of Reigate and has two lakes and picnic areas. Earlswood station is on the Brighton Main Line. The town, which adjoins the town of Reigate to the west, is due south of Croydon in Greater London, and is part of the London commuter belt.
