Safet Berisha
Safet Berisha (11 November 1949 – 19 October 2016) was an Albanian football player who played for KF Teuta Durrës, Lokomotiva Durrës and FK Partizani Tirana, Partizani Tirana as well as the Albania national football team, Albania national team, where he earned 20 senior caps. Club career A tall defender, Berisha was raised in Durrës by his adoptive parents, which is where he joined the local side Teuta Durrës, Lokomotiv Durrës as a youth player and was promoted to the senior squad by coach Loro Boriçi. In 1968 he was summoned to fulfil his military service and subsequently joined army club FK Partizani Tirana, Partizani Tirana with whom he has won three championships, four cups and one Balkan Champion title. Durrës
Durrës ( , ; sq-definite, Durrësi) is the second most populous city of the Republic of Albania and seat of Durrës County and Durrës Municipality. It is located on a flat plain along the Albanian Adriatic Sea Coast between the mouths of the Erzen and Ishëm at the southeastern corner of the Adriatic Sea. Balkans Cup
The Balkans Cup was an international football competition for clubs from Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Turkey, and Yugoslavia. It was introduced in 1961 and was very popular in the 1960s (the 1967 final attracted 42,000 spectators), being the second most important international club competition for clubs from the region (after the European Champions' Cup in which the champions could play; the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup originally attracted few teams from the region as many did not organise domestic cups regularly and only Yugoslavia had significant representation in the Fairs Cup). The competition has been dominated by Bulgaria-based teams. The Bulgarian teams have won together a total number of 9 titles. 1979–80 Albanian Cup () was the twenty-eighth season of Albania's annual cup competition. It began in August 1979 with the First Round and ended in May 1980 with the Final matches. The winners of the competition qualified for the 1980-81 first round of the UEFA Cup. Vllaznia were the defending champions, having won their third Albanian Cup last season. The cup was won by KF Partizani. The rounds were played in a two-legged format similar to those of European competitions. If the aggregated score was tied after both games, the team with the higher number of away goals advanced. If the number of away goals was equal in both games, the match was decided by extra time and a penalty shootout, if necessary.
