Sacred Heart Catholic Academy is a Roman Catholic secondary school and sixth form located in Crosby, Merseyside, England. It was created from the amalgamation of Seafield Convent Grammar and St Bede's Secondary Modern in 1977, and was previously known as Sacred Heart Catholic High School and Sacred Heart Catholic College. Academy (English School)
An academy school in England is a state-funded school which is directly funded by the Department for Education and independent of local authority control. The terms of the arrangements are set out in individual Academy Funding Agreements. Most academies are secondary schools, though slightly more than 25% of primary schools (4,363 as of December 2017) are academies. Rosa Mannion
Rosa Mannion (born 1962) is a British operatic soprano who has sung leading roles both in the opera houses of the UK and Europe and in the recording studio. Although particularly known for her roles in the operas of Handel and Mozart, she sang a wide repertoire during her career including Violetta in '' La traviata'' and all three of the leading female roles in ''The Tales of Hoffmann'' (Olympia, Antonia, and Giulietta). Iffy Onuora
Ifem "Iffy" Onuora (born 28 July 1967) is a Scottish former professional footballer, manager, and coach for the England U21 national team. He is also the current equalities coach for the Professional Footballers Association. As a player, he was a forward from 1988 until 2004. He notably had spells with Huddersfield Town, Swindon Town and Gillingham and spent his entire career playing in England. He also played in the Football League for Mansfield Town, Sheffield United, Wycombe Wanderers, Grimsby Town, Tranmere Rovers and Walsall. Team GB is the brand name used since 1999 by the British Olympic Association (BOA) for their Great Britain at the Olympics, British Olympic team. Daniel Scott Purvis (born 13 November 1990 in Crosby, England) is a Scottish former international elite artistic gymnast, and three-time British all-around champion in men's artistic gymnastics. He trained at Southport YMCA and was coached by Jeff Brookes and Andrei Popov. He was part of the first British men's team to win a medal at a World Championships in 2015. Junior career During his time as a junior he came 4th in the team for Great Britain at the Junior European Championships in Greece in 2006. Marcus Collins (born 15 May 1988) is an English singer who was a finalist on the eighth series of ''The X Factor'' in 2011. Adam Hammill
Adam James Hammill (born 25 January 1988) is an English former footballer who played as a winger. Hammill represented England U21s, though he also qualified to play for the Republic of Ireland at international level. Hammill is a product of the Liverpool academy, but failed to make a league appearance for the club at senior level, before leaving to join Championship side Barnsley in 2009. After a successful period at Barnsley, he entered the Premier League when he moved to Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2011, with whom he remained until 2013.
