SESA Football Academy
Sesa Football Academy (SFA) is a football academy based in Sanquelim, Goa. Originally founded in the 1960s as Sesa Sports Club, its football team competes in the Goa Professional League, and previously participated in NFL II and I-League 2nd Division. SFA is a unit of Sesa Community Development Foundation, which is promoted by Vedanta Limited with the objective of service to the community in its operational areas. SFA began functioning in June 1999. All expenses including the academic studies are taken care of by the academy. Sesa Football Academy was the champion of the Goa First Division League in the 2018–19 season, and gained automatic promotion to the Goa Professional League, where they will play in the 2019–20 season. Sircaim
Sircaim (or Sirsaim) is a village situated in the Bardez sub-district or ''taluka'' of Goa, which lies along the west-coast of India. It lies close to or within the mining belt of North Goa. It is home to a football academy for youth, and a jetty for iron-ore transportation. Though located in Bardez, it has also been involved in mining activities which are otherwise mainly based in Bicholim and other sub-districts of Goa. Armando Colaco
Armando Colaço (born 22 June 1953) is an Indian football coach, who last managed East Bengal FC in the I-League. He is the most successful manager in the history of another I-League club Dempo, in terms of trophies in the last 20 years and is also the club's longest-serving manager. Heavily influenced by Ukrainian manager Valeriy Lobanovskyi, Colaco is the first I-League coach to guide an Indian team into the semi-finals of the AFC Cup, which he did in 2008. Indian Women's League
The Indian Women's League, known as ''Hero Indian Women's League'' for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp is the women's top tier professional football league in Indian football. Founded in 2016, currently a total of 18 teams from across the country will participate in the league from 2022-23 Season. The competition was planned since 2014 and got established in 2016, with the first season starting from October 2016 in Cuttack. Brahmanand Sagoon Kamat Sankhwalkar (born 6 March 1954) is a former Indian footballer and a captain of the Indian team from 1983 to 1986, who played as a goalkeeper. Considered one of India's best goalkeepers, he had 25-year playing career. He played for Panvel Sports Club, Salgaocar, Churchill Brothers, Anderson Mariners at the club level, that included 17 years with Salgaocar, and for Goa state team in the Santosh Trophy.
