S. S. Rajendran
Sedapatti Suryanarayana Rajendran, also known by his initials SSR (January 1928 – 24 October 2014), was an Indian actor, director, producer and politician who worked in Tamil theatre and cinema. Film career Rajendran made his acting debut with the 1952 film '' Parasakthi'', directed by the directing duo Krishnan–Panju, with the character Gnanasekharan. Usilampatti () is a town and a second grade municipality in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is also a designated taluk and revenue division. Location Usilampatti town lies 37 km south west of Theni town and 32 km west of Madurai city on the NH 49 road. The town has a population of 30601 as per the 2001 census. ''Kalyanikku Kalyanam'' () is a 1959 Indian Tamil-language film directed by A. S. A. Sami. The film stars S. S. Rajendran, Mynavathi and M. N. Rajam. Plot Kalyani is an uneducated village girl who lives with her mother and two brothers. Her uncle Kumaresan agrees to Kalyani marrying his son Sadhasivam who is a master's degree qualified person living in Chennai. ''Kula Deivam'' () is a 1956 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Krishnan–Panju and written by Murasoli Maran. It is a remake of the 1954 Bengali film ''Banga Kora''. The film stars S. V. Sahasranamam and Pandari Bai, while Rajagopal, S. S. Rajendran, Chandrababu, S. A. Ashokan and Vijayakumari play supporting roles. The film's soundtrack and background score were composed by R.
