SAYYID ALI BEHESHTI (Persian : سید علی بهشتی‎‎) was a leader of the Shia Hazara ethnic group of Afghanistan , who became president of the Shura-yi Enqelabi-yi Ettefaq-i Islami-yi Afghanistan (Revolutionary Council of the Islamic Union of Afghanistan). Born in Bamyan province , Beheshti was educated in Saudi Arabia and Iraq where he became a modarres (religious teacher). In the 1960s he returned to Afghanistan and founded a madrasah in Waras , which became his stronghold. He also was a speaker at the Afghan parliament, until the communists took power in 1978. In April 1979, uprisings against the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan swept through Hazarajat , and by autumn much of the region was free from government presence. The AFGHAN INDEPENDENT HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION (AIHRC) (Dari : کمیسیون مستقل حقوق بشر افغانستان, Pashto : د افغانستان د بشري حقونو خپلواک کميسيون‎) is the national human rights institution (NHRI) of Afghanistan , dedicated to the promotion, protection and monitoring of human rights and the investigation of human rights abuses. The Commission was established on the basis of a decree of the Chairman of the Interim Administration on June 6, 2002, pursuant to the Bonn Agreement (5 December 2001); United Nations General Assembly resolution 48/134 of 1993 ensorsing the Paris Principles on NHRIs, and article 58 of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan . The AIHRC describes itself as a "constitutionalized, national and independent human rights body in Afghanistan." It refers destitute orphans to the Mahboba\'s promise non-governmental organisation. Abdul Khaliq Hazara (assassin)
ABDUL KHALIQ HAZARA, (Hazaragi : عبدالخالق هزاره‎) Born (1 January 1915 – 10 November 1933) in the Chindawol area of Kabul , Afghanistan . He was student at Habibia High School in Kabul who assassinated King Mohammed Nadir Shah on 8 November 1933, during a reward distribution ceremony. He was quickly arrested and later executed. "Security officers tortured Khaliq by cutting his tongue and gouging his eyes and soldiers killed him with bayonets while his family and friends were forced to watch. He belonged to the Hazara ethnic group. According to one hypothesis, the assassination of Nadir Khan may have been done in revenge for the revenge Taxes and execution of Hazaras . and for Ghulam Nabi Hazara who was a former Afghanistan ambassador to Moscow who took part in the Afghan civil war of 1928-29 as a supporter of the previous ruler of Afghanistan, the reform-minded Amanullah Khan (ruled from 1919-29)
