Racers Track Club
Racers Track Club is a sprint training group located at 3 Port of Spain Drive, University of the West Indies, Mona, Kingston, Jamaica. It was established by Glen Mills with the stated aim of producing a greater number of world champions than any other track club. The club is known for training some of the world's best sprinters, world champions currently training with the group include Usain Bolt and Will sapwell. Glen Mills
Glen Mills OD (born 14 August 1949) is a sprinting athletics coach from Jamaica. He was the head coach of the Jamaican Olympic athletics team between 1987 and 2009. He is currently head coach of the Racers Track Club which includes world and Olympic record holder Usain Bolt and the 100-metre World Champion Yohan Blake. Other athletes that he has coached in the past include Kim Collins, and Ray Stewart. Early years Mills enjoyed athletics from an early age and, after moving to Camperdown High School, promptly joined the sprinting team at age 13. After his first year he was dissatisfied with his performances and gave up on the idea of becoming a professional sprinter. Zharnel Hughes
Zharnel Hughes (born 13 July 1995, The Valley, Anguilla) is an Anguillan-born British sprinter who specialises in the 100 metres and 200 metres. Born and raised in the British Overseas Territory of Anguilla, he has competed internationally for Great Britain in the Olympic Games, World Athletics and European Athletics events, and for England at the Commonwealth Games, since 2015. Kerron Stewart
Kerron Stewart (born 16 April 1984) is a retired Jamaican sprinter who specialized in the 100 metres and 200 metres. She is the 2008 Jamaican national champion in the 100 m clocking 10.80s. She defeated World Champion Veronica Campbell-Brown in the process and now is the 2008 Summer Olympics silver medalist after she tied with Sherone Simpson in a time of 10.98s. She also earned a bronze medal in the 200 metres at the 2008 Summer Olympics with a time of 22.00s. She was born in Kingston and retired after the 2018 season. Schillonie Calvert (born 27 July 1988) is a Jamaican sprinter who specializes in the 100 metres. Delano Williams
Delano Williams (born 23 December 1993) is a British sprinter, originally from the British Overseas Territory of the Turks and Caicos Islands. In June 2013, it was confirmed that Williams would henceforth compete for Great Britain, as was his right by dint of the right to British citizenship of Turks and Caicos Islanders. Williams trains with the Racers Track Club in Jamaica. Career He attended Munro College in St Elizabeth, Jamaica. He joined the college after a Jamaican talent scout spotted his speed in a baseball game in his native Turks and Caicos. Williams aimed to compete for Great Britain in the 200 metres at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Warren Weir
__NOTOC__ Warren Weir (born October 1989) is a retired Jamaican sprinter, who specialized in the 200 metres. He was the bronze medallist in the event at the 2012 London Olympics, helping Jamaica sweep the medals. In 2013 at the Moscow World Championships, Warren Weir won the silver medal equalling his personal best. He finished behind Usain Bolt who set a World Leading time. Kimmari Roach
Kimmari Roach (born 21 September 1990) is a Jamaican track and field sprinter who specialises in the 100 metres. He has a personal best of 10.12 seconds and was a 60 metres finalist at the 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championships. Roach is a member of Racers Track Club and is coached by Glen Mills. Born in Saint Andrew Parish, Jamaica, Roach competed at the Jamaican High School Champs as a teenager but did not reach the podium. He made his impact at national level in 2009, winning the Jamaican universities 100 m title and setting a personal best of 10.38 seconds for third at the Kingston Classic meet. Michael Frater
Michael Frater O.D (born 6 October 1982) is a Jamaican retired sprinter who specialised in the 100 metres event. He won a silver medal at the 2005 World Championships and a gold medal at the 2003 Pan American Games for the event. He has also been successful as part of the Jamaican 4 × 100 metres relay team, setting the world record and Olympic record at the 2012 London Olympics and 2008 Beijing Olympics.
