It is highly urbanized and, as of 2019, was the world's most densely populated city proper. Nicomaine Dei Capili Mendoza (born March 3, 1995), better known as Maine Mendoza (), is a Filipino actress and television personality. She is best known for her viral Dubsmash videos and her role as Yaya Dub in the noontime reality show ''Eat Bulaga!'' segment "Kalyeserye", previously aired on GMA Network and worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV. Her rise to fame is often described as phenomenal and unconventional due to the unscripted forming of AlDub love team in ''Eat Bulaga!'' on July 16, 2015 where she was paired with Alden Richards. AlDub is a portmanteau of Richards' first name and Mendoza's character in "Kalyeserye". Beyond ''Eat Bulaga!'', Mendoza featured in the 2015 film '' My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore'', for which she won Best Supporting Actress at the 41st Metro Manila Film Festival. Kalyeserye
''Kalyeserye'' is a soap opera parody segment that was aired live on the Filipino noontime variety show ''Eat Bulaga!'' on GMA Network. The mini-show, as it has evolved, focused on AlDub, the fictional couple pairing — or "love team" as it is more commonly known in the Philippines — of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza's "Yaya Dub" character in which the two only communicate through lip-syncing to various pop songs and movie audio clips as well as written messages, and interact only on the show's split-screen frame. Richards is usually based in Broadway Centrum studio of ''Eat Bulaga!'' in Quezon City, Metro Manila while Mendoza travels around to a different external location. With an initial runtime of a few minutes, the show soon expanded to over a half-hour for each episode, with specials running even longer and for more segments. Runtimes ranged from about 55 minutes on weekdays to about 1 hour and 15 minutes on Saturdays. The show featured live improvisation from Ric ...

Celebrity Showdown
Celebrity is a condition of fame and broad public recognition of a person or group as a result of the attention given to them by mass media. An individual may attain a celebrity status from having great wealth, their participation in sports or the entertainment industry, their position as a political figure, or even from their connection to another celebrity. 'Celebrity' usually implies a favorable public image, as opposed to the neutrals 'famous' or 'notable', or the negatives 'infamous' and 'notorious'. History In his 2020 book ''Dead Famous: an unexpected history of celebrity'', British historian Greg Jenner uses the definition: Although his book is subtitled "from Bronze Age to Silver Screen", and despite the fact that "Until very recently, sociologists argued that ''celebrity'' was invented just over 100 years ago, in the flickering glimmer of early Hollywood" and the suggestion that some medieval saints might qualify, Jenner asserts that the earliest celebrities live ...
