Philippine Super Liga
The Philippine Super Liga (PSL; alternatively spelled as Philippine Superliga) was a non-professional corporate club women's volleyball league in the Philippines. It was first organized by SportsCore Event Management and Consultancy, Inc. and later owned by Athletic Events & Sports Management Group (ACES), Inc. The league was envisioned to provide former collegiate players a league with which they can continue with their volleyball career. The PSL also had a men's division from 2013 to 2014, although its beach volleyball tournament both have a women's and men's division since its inception. In 2021, the PSL was left without any active team after all teams either filed a leave of absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic or moved to the newly professionalized Premier Volleyball League, the PSL's rival league. 2013 Philippine Super Liga Season
The 2013 PSL Season was the maiden season of the Philippine Super Liga (PSL), the first professional volleyball league in the Philippines. The PSL began as a women's league during its inaugural tournament, the Invitational conference. A men's division was added for the succeeding tournament, the Grand Prix conference. The TMS-Philippine Army Lady Troopers were the first PSL champions, winning both tournaments held during the season. For the men's division, the PLDT myDSL Speed Boosters emerged as the first champions. Invitational Conference The Invitational Conference, held from July 7, 2013 to July 28, 2013. Philippine Athletics Track And Field Association
The Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association (PATAFA) is the National Sports Association (NSA) for athletics sports such as track and field, road running, cross country running, and racewalking in the Philippines, including the core athletics sports which constitute the Decathlon in the Olympic Games. PATAFA is also a member of the Asian Athletics Association (AAA) and the World Athletics. TV5 (also known as 5 and formerly known as ABC) is a Philippine free-to-air television network based in Mandaluyong, with its alternate studios located in Novaliches, Quezon City.
