Peyragudes
Peyragudes is a large ski resort in the French Pyrenees, situated in the departments of Hautes-Pyrénées and Haute-Garonne, in the Region of Occitanie. The resort was created in 1988, when the Peyresourde and Agudes resorts were joined. Skiing The resort is located on 2 sides of the same mountain, connected thru several lifts. There are 18 ski lifts and 51 ski slopes: * 6 green slopes * 23 blue slopes * 18 red slopes * 4 black slopes A major part of the resort is equipped with 230 snow-guns. Skyvall is a new €30m gondola linking Loudenvielle in the Vallee du Louron to the mountain village at Peyragudes. Cycling The climb up to the ski-resort can be accessed from the D618 between Arreau and the ''Col de Peyresourde''. The summit is situated at . 2017 Tour De France
The 2017 Tour de France was the 104th edition of the Tour de France, one of cycling's Grand Tours. The 21- stage race took place across , commencing with an individual time trial in Düsseldorf, Germany on 1 July, and concluding with the Champs-Élysées stage in Paris on 23 July. A total of 198 riders from 22 teams entered the race. The overall general classification won by Chris Froome of , his third consecutive victory and fourth overall. The 2022 Tour de France is the 109th edition of the Tour de France. It started in Copenhagen, Denmark on 1 July and ended with the final stage at Champs-Élysées, Paris on 24 July. Col De Peyresourde
The Col de Peyresourde ( oc, Còth de Pèira Sorda) (elevation ) is a mountain pass in the central Pyrenees on the border of the department of Haute-Garonne and Hautes-Pyrénées in France. It is situated on the D618 road between Bagnères-de-Luchon and Arreau. Details of climb Starting from Bagnères-de-Luchon (east), the Col de Peyresourde is long. Romain Bardet
Romain Bardet (born 9 November 1990) is a French professional racing cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Bardet is known for his climbing and descending abilities, which make him one of the top general classification contenders in Grand Tours. So far in his career, his best results have primarily come on home soil. He has won three stages in the Tour de France in three separate years running from 2015 to 2017; he placed in the top ten overall for five consecutive years (from 2014 to 2018 and finished on the podium twice: second overall in 2016 and third overall in 2017. He has also worn the Young rider classification jersey, and won the Mountains classification jersey in 2019 as well as the overall Combativity Award in 2015.
