Origo (stylised as ORIGO, previously as rigo'') is a major Hungarian-language news website founded in 1998 by telecommunications company MATÁV. In 2018, Origo was the third most visited Hungarian website. Since 2015, Origo has been regularly criticised by the left for its uncritical support of the Fidesz political party. Multiple critics described the website as "state-run propaganda", prone to operate with the same keywords for emotional mobilization as other news outlets with close ties to Fidesz. History 1998-2001: Foundation and early days Four former Magyar Narancs employees, Péter Nádori, Ferenc Pohly, György Simó and Balázs Weyer decided to start an online news website. Dame Iris Margaret Origo, Marchesa Origo, DBE (née Cutting; 15 August 1902 – 28 June 1988) was an English-born biographer and writer. She lived in Italy and devoted much of her life to improving the Tuscan estate at La Foce, near Montepulciano, which she bought with her husband in the 1920s. During the Second World War, she persistently sheltered refugee children and helped many escaped Allied prisoners of war and partisans, in defiance of Italy's fascist regime and Nazi occupation forces. Origo Sound
Origo Sound is a Norwegian independent record label formed in 1990 in Norway by Harald Lervik. The initiative to start the label was taken after Tormod Opedal, an employee in Lervik's software company, in 1989 had decided to close his own label Cicada which had released two albums by the Norwegian composer Erik Wøllo. Wøllo had a new album ready to be released, and Origo Sound was formed the year after, with two albums launched in the autumn 1990, of which one was the new Wøllo album Origo Sound's major successes were the two albums by Biosphere, ''Microgravity'' and ''Patashnik''. Hailed by Norwegian and international press for setting the standard for what was to become known as ambient techno, the albums were followed by two more albums on the label, ''Substrata'' and the movie soundtrack ''Insomnia''. ''Origo'' is the fourth full-length album by the Swedish progressive metal band Burst, released on October 17, 2005, by Relapse Records. It received critical acclaim from magazines such as ''Kerrang!'' and ''Rock Sound''. Aaron Burgess, writing for ''Alternative Press'' described the album as "a blistering epic, complete with keyboards, acoustic passages and female backing vocals in tow". He added that "Burst sound ready to, well, burst out of obscurity and into the genre-shattering realm of fellow post-metal masters Isis, Neurosis and Cult Of Luna". Natalia Nykiel (born 8 February 1995) is a Polish singer and songwriter. She began her career in 2013, finishing in fourth place on season two of ''The Voice of Poland''. Afterwards, she signed a record deal with Universal Music Polska, and released her debut studio album ''Lupus Electro'' (2014). The album's second single "Bądź duży" has been certified diamond by the Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry and established Nykiel as a household name in Poland. Its success was followed by the release of the single "Error", which was also certified diamond and became Nykiel's first chart-topping hit in Poland. Her second studio album ''Discordia'' was released in 2017, followed by the 2019 EP ''Origo'', which earned her the Fryderyk award.
