Noale
Noale is a town in the Metropolitan City of Venice, Veneto, Italy. It is part of the Miranese district, together with the neighboring municipalities of Mirano, Santa Maria di Sala, Salzano, Scorzè, Spinea and Martellago. The town is home to the thrash metal band Catarrhal Noise and the motorcycle manufacturer Aprilia. Palio The Palio di Noale is the annual historical re-enactment of a medieval contest which was held under the seigniory of the Tempesta family. Historical documents show that the Palio was first celebrated in 1339, in occasion of Pentecost. It was originally intended to commemorate Noale's annexation to Treviso's possessions. The modern Palio takes place in the month of June, over the Pentecost period, and sees the participation of different teams, coming from the surrounding areas as well. Aprilia
Aprilia is an Italian motorcycle manufacturer founded immediately after World War II in Noale, Italy, by Alberto Beggio. The company started as a manufacturer of bicycles and moved on to manufacture scooters and small-capacity motorcycles. In more recent times Aprilia has produced large sportbikes such as the 1,000 cc V-twin RSV Mille and the V4 RSV4. Aprilia has supported a strong motorsport competition program beginning with motocross racing and then a world championship-winning road racing program. The company was acquired by Piaggio in 2004. Catarrhal Noise
Catarrhal Noise is a thrash metal and metal boaro band from Noale, Veneto, Italy. The band was founded in September 1994, when Albyzzo and Ruzo (later known as Bullo) chose the name after a deep search inside an English dictionary. They sing in Venetian, that is very hard to understand for foreigners, and even for an Italian living outside Veneto. Moreover, their lyrics are off-the-wall, with a heavy use of colloquial terms: a common concept in their concerts is the one of ''rujo'', that can be approximately translated as ''extreme rudeness and impoliteness'' and is often a term applied to people living in the country. The band was able to create a large following in Veneto and in other parts of northern Italy thanks to their highly energetic live shows. Scorzè is a ''comune'' in the Metropolitan City of Venice, in the Italian region of Veneto, located about northwest of Venice.
