Nkubu
Nkubu is a town in Kenya. It is located on the eastern slopes of Mount Kenya, within Meru County. It falls in one of the most-fertile and best-watered parts of Africa, with tea, coffee and dairy farming as the main economic activities in the area. It is also the lead town in South Imenti Constituency. Location Nkubu is from Nairobi on the Nairobi-Embu-Meru road. The town is situated on the southern banks of the river Thingithu, which has its origins on Mount Kenya. Transport includes public service minibuses, taxis and boda boda motorbikes. The town is connected to surrounding towns, by tarred roads to Chuka, Meru and Mikumbune, Kithurine, Kionyo towns to the west and a tarred toad to Mitunguu town to the east. Meru, Kenya
Meru is a town in eastern Kenya. It is the headquarters of the Meru County, and the seventh largest urban centre in the country. Meru forms a municipal council with a population of 240,900 residents. Overview The town is located at 0.047035 degrees north and 37.649803 degrees east, on the northeast slopes of Mount Kenya. The Kathita River passes adjacent to the town. The main administrative part of the town is on the north side of the Kathita River. While the south side of the river is where residential areas are situated. Chuka, Kenya
Chuka is a town on the eastern slopes of Mount Kenya, in Kenya about 65 km south Of Meru Town. It falls within Tharaka-Nithi County and the former Eastern Province. Between 1992 and 2009, Chuka was the capital of Tharaka Nithi District (split off from Meru District). Tharaka Nithi District was further split into Meru South and Tharaka Districts with Chuka remaining the Capital of Meru South.
