Nikolay Vladimirovich Fomenko (russian: Николай Владимирович Фоменко, born 30 April 1962) is a Russian musician, comic actor, professional motor racer, former president of Marussia Motors and former engineering director of Marussia F1. Music career Fomenko started his career as vocalist and guitarist in the band Secret, who were very popular in Russia in the mid-1980s. Acting career Fomenko first started his acting career as a theater actor in the Theater of Youth Creativity (1974-1976). Filmography TV career Fomenko performed in the popular Russian music collection series ''Staryye Pesni o Glavnom'' (Old songs about the important). The Interception
''The Interception'' (russian: Перехват, translit=Perehvat}; sometimes translated ''The Intercept'') is a Russian game show which aired between 1997 and 1998. The concept was for the contestant to "steal" (actually, be given the keys to) a car and avoid the police for 35 minutes, who were tracking the car's location via a radio transmitter. If the contestant avoided the police, they won the car. The car chase was done in real Moscow streets, and had to obey traffic laws. At its peak, the show had 60 million viewers per episode. The show was created with the cooperation of the Main Directorate for Traffic Safety (GAI); the officers chasing the "thief" were not actors. With the odds being heavily tilted against the "thieves" winning the car, the show had the aim of discouraging carjacking, which had become rampant. RWS Motorsport
RWS Motorsport is an auto racing team based in Anger, Bavaria, Germany. Founded in 1995 by former racing driver and engineer Rudi Walch, the team has been involved in multiple international series, primarily the FIA GT Championship. The team were the vice champions of the N-GT category of the FIA GT Championship in 2000 and 2001. Since 2003, RWS has concentrated on historic motorsport and vehicle restoration, repair, and sales. Richard Kaye (born 30 September 1967 in Harrogate, Yorkshire) is a British former auto racing driver. He comes from a family heavily involved in motor-sport. His older brother James is a driver and his father Peter, worked as his engineer and team principal. He now works as a racing instructor and team manager. Early career His racing career started in road rallying at the age of seventeen, progressing to stage rally racing. In 1988 he switched to circuit racing, finishing as runner-up in the St Helens Ford XR3i Challenge. He won his first title in 1989, becoming the St Helens Ford XR2i champion. From then he only did occasional racing, until 1993 when he raced in the Ford Fiesta XR2 Challenge, finishing in fourth place. Aleksey Igorevich Vasilyev ( rus, Алексе́й И́горевич Васи́льев, p=ɐlʲɪkˈsʲej ˈiɡərʲɪvʲɪtɕ vɐˈsʲɪlʲjɪf; born 13 January 1972) is a Russian auto racing driver. The Porsche 996 is the internal designation for the 911 model manufactured by the German automaker Porsche from 1997 until 2006. It was replaced by the 997 in 2004, but the high performance Turbo S, GT2 and GT3 variants remained in production until 2006. The 996 had little in common with its predecessor, with the first all new chassis platform since the original 911 and a new water-cooled engine. Freisinger Motorsport is a German company which has tuned, restored, and raced Porsches since 1967. Founded by Manfred Freisinger in Karlsruhe, the company now is run by his son Manfred Freisinger Jr. Since 1992, the company has competed internationally, initially running in the Porsche Supercup, before moving into the BPR Global GT Series and 24 Hours of Le Mans. Freisinger's first international victory came at the 1998 Petit Le Mans, winning in the LMGT2 class with a Porsche 911 GT2. Vladislav (Vlad) Nikolayevich Listyev (russian: Владисла́в Никола́евич Листьев, links=no; May 10, 1956 – March 1, 1995) was a Russian journalist and head of the ORT TV Channel (now government-owned Channel One).
