NewsWatch (Philippine TV Program)
''RPN NewsWatch'' is a Philippine flagship television news program that aired on Radio Philippines Network (RPN) from June 1, 1970, until October 29, 2012. It was the longest-running English-language newscast of RPN. The program had a complicated history, undergoing many name changes, until it was cancelled in 2012 upon Solar Entertainment Corporation's consummation of RPN's majority stake. Its reportorial teams were tasked to gather news from every major beat in the Greater Manila Area as well as nearby provinces. Broadcast chronology Launched on June 1, 1970, it became one of the highly watched English newscasts on Philippine TV alongside ''The World Tonight'' of ABS-CBN and '' The Big News'' of ABC 5 (now TV5). ETC (Philippine TV Channel)
SolarFlix (formerly ETC) is a Philippine free-to-air television network owned by the Southern Broadcasting Network subsidiary of Solar Entertainment Corporation. Its digital free-to-air broadcast is carried by SBN's flagship station, DWCP-DTV (channel 21) in Metro Manila. The channel's analog broadcast is fed on its lone provincial TV station, DXSS-TV (channel 7) in Davao City (in which the station currently carries DepEd ALS TV programming). The channel is also carried by cable and satellite providers, including Sky Cable, Destiny Cable, Cablelink, Binangonan Cable TV Corporation, Cignal and SatLite, along with various provincial cable operators and through online streaming. Solar TV (stylized as SOLARtv) was the flagship television network of Solar Entertainment Corporation's television arm subsidiary Solar TV Network, Inc., which is the replacement of C/S 9. Studio 23 (officially Studio 23, Inc. and previously AMCARA Broadcasting Network) was a Filipino television network owned by ABS-CBN Corporation.
