"Never Miss a Beat" is a song by British indie rock band Kaiser Chiefs, released as the lead single from the band's third album, '' Off with Their Heads'', on 6 October 2008. The song was produced by Mark Ronson and features backing vocals from Lily Allen and members of rock group New Young Pony Club. "Never Miss a Beat" premiered on BBC Radio 1's ''The Chris Moyles Show'' on 27 August 2008. On 17 September 2008, it was added to BBC Radio 1's A List. On 12 October, the song entered the UK Singles Chart at 5, giving the band their second UK top-five single as well as their fifth to enter the UK top 10. Kaiser Chiefs
Kaiser Chiefs are an English indie rock band from Leeds who formed in 2000 as Parva, releasing one studio album, ''22'', in 2003, before renaming and establishing themselves in their current name that same year. Since their formation the band has consisted of lead vocalist Ricky Wilson, guitarist Andrew "Whitey" White, bassist Simon Rix, keyboardist Nick "Peanut" Baines and since 2013 drummer Vijay Mistry, who replaced founding drummer Nick Hodgson following his departure from the band in late 2012. Ricky Wilson (British Musician)
Charles Richard Wilson (born 17 January 1978) is an English singer-songwriter, artist and the frontman of five-piece band Kaiser Chiefs. Before the formation of the band, in 2003, Wilson was a member of the band Runston Parva (later known as Parva), which consisted of members of Kaiser Chiefs. On 19 September 2013, Wilson was confirmed as a coach on ''The Voice UK''. He was the winning coach for both the fourth and fifth series of the show, being the only coach to win two years consecutively. Abbey Wood is an area in south east London, England, straddling the border between the Royal Borough of Greenwich and the London Borough of Bexley. It is located east of Charing Cross. Toponymy The area takes its name from Lesnes Abbey Woods, located to the east, which once belonged to the monks of Lesnes Abbey. Development The Abbey of St Mary and St Thomas the Martyr at Lesnes (or Lesnes Abbey) was founded in 1178 by Richard de Luci, Chief Justiciar of England.
