Neram
''Neram'' () is a 2013 Indian black comedy thriller film written, directed, and edited by Alphonse Puthren in his directorial debut. Simultaneously made in Malayalam and Tamil languages, the film is an extended version of the short film of the same name, which he directed in 2009. It stars Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim and Bobby Simha in both versions. Supporting roles were played by Manoj K. Jayan, Shammi Thilakan, Lalu Alex, and Willson Joseph in Malayalam, while Nassar, Thambi Ramiah, John Vijay and Shabareesh Varma portrayed the characters in Tamil. The whole film is set within one day in Chennai. Shooting for the film commenced on mid-2012, were completed in March 2013. The music was scored by debutant Rajesh Murugesan, while cinematography was handled by Anend C. Chendran. The Tamil version, that was shot simultaneously had Nazriya in its Kollywood debut. The Malayalam version was released on 10 May 2013, while the Tamil version was released a week later, on 17 May 2013. ...

Nazriya Nazim
Nazriya Nazim (born 20 December 1994) is an Indian actress, producer and former television presenter who works predominantly in Malayalam films in addition to Tamil films. She has won One Filmfare Award South, one Kerala State Film Awards, and One Tamil Nadu State Film Award respectively. She started her career as an anchor on Malayalam television channel Asianet before pursuing a career as an actress. Nivin Pauly (born 11 October 1984) is an Indian actor and producer who works predominantly in Malayalam films. He is a recipient of several awards including two Kerala State Film Awards and three Filmfare South awards. Shabareesh Varma is an Indian lyricist, singer and actor working in Malayalam and Tamil films. Jayasimha (born 6 November 1983), better known as Bobby Simha, is an Indian actor who predominantly appears in Tamil and Telugu language films, alongside a few Malayalam-language films.
