Nat Ho
Nathaniel "Nat" Ho (, born 23 August 1984) is a Singaporean actor and singer. Career Ho was originally one of the Top 30 contestants in the inaugural season of Singapore Idol in 2004. He was also awarded the 'Most Promising Artiste' in 2004, by the Singapore Armed Forces Music and Drama Company. One of his first acting roles was in the Channel 5 drama '' Shooting Stars''. Following that, Nat was given the lead role in a local feature film, ''Smell of Rain''. While pursuing his diploma in Mass Communications, Ho dabbled in modeling after he was discovered by a modeling agent. His portfolio included clients like M1, Lipton Tea, KFC, Marina Square Shopping Centre and Tiger Balm. He also did freelance work as a backup dancer for a few commercial jobs, which included Indian International Film Academy Awards'04 and Miss Singapore Universe'06 to name a few. Star Awards
The Star Awards (Chinese: 红星大奖) are awards for artistic and technical merit in the media organisation Mediacorp of Singapore where Mediacorp recognises entertainers under their employment for outstanding performances of the year. The awards are given annually in a ceremony. The various category winners are awarded a trophy, with initial designs featuring various star shapes. The star was subsequently removed and the trophy is designed as a S shaped column, depicting the star. History The 1st Star Awards presentation was held on 26 February 1994, took place at the Caldecott Broadcast Centre, MediaCorp TV Theatre with an audience of about 500 people. MICappella
MICappella is a Singaporean a cappella group. They made their debut after competing in the Chinese edition of ''The Sing-Off'', where they won second place. The band appeared at National Day Parade 2018 and 2022 Celebrations and Singapore Day 2019 in Shanghai. That same year, they were also invited to perform their rendition of the National Anthem during the Singapore Grand Prix Flag-off ceremony. MICappella has released three albums till date. ''Hey Gorgeous'' (, previously styled ''Hey! Gorgeous'', ) is a Singaporean talent-scouting competition which searches for new talents in tertiary institutes. The show ran for three seasons, with a change in its Chinese title during the second season. A similar contest was held in 2009, although it was not broadcast on television. History ''Hey Gorgeous'' was preceded by a talent-scouting competition entitled ''School Belle and the Beau'' (流星花园), which only aired on MediaCorp Channel 8 for one season in 2004.
