The Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium , also known as New VCA Stadium, is a cricket ground in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. It is the largest cricket stadium in India in terms of field area. Nitin Jairam Gadkari (; born 27 May 1957) is an Indian politician from Maharashtra who is the current Minister for Road Transport & Highways in the Government of India. He is also the longest serving Minister for Road Transport & Highways currently running his tenure for over 8 years. Bakht Buland Shah was a ruler of the Rajgond dynasty. He added to his kingdom, the territories of Chanda and Mandla, and portions of Nagpur, Balaghat, Seoni, Bhandara and the adjoining Rajput kingdom of Kherla/Khedla. Vidhan Bhavan, Nagpur is the building in the Civil lines locality of Nagpur, the second capital of Maharashtra state of India, where Winter Session of the Maharashtra Legislature is held. The foundation stone of the building was laid in 1912. It was constructed by the then British command to house the administration of the Central Provinces and Berar, of which Nagpur was the capital. Zero Mile Stone (Nagpur)
Zero Mile Stone is a monument built by British during the Great Trigonometrical Survey of India in 1907 in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The Zero Mile Stone consists of a pillar made up of sandstone and another small stone representing the GTS Standard Bench Mark, and four stucco horses that were added later. The height of the top of the pillar is 1020.171 feet above mean sea level. In 2008, The Times of India undertook to maintain the monument for the next 5 years. The Nag River ( Marathi : नाग नदी) is a river flowing through the city of Nagpur in Maharashtra, India. It is known for providing the etymology for the name Nagpur. Forming a part of the Kanhan- Pench river system, the Nag River originates in Lava hills near wadi. The confluence point of the Nag and Pioli rivers is near Pawangaon, the confluence point of Nag and Pora river is near Titur, and the confluence point of Nag and Kanhan River is near Sawangi village.
