Naaginn (2007 TV Series)
''Naaginn - Waadon Ki Agniparikshaa'' () is a Hindi television series that aired on Zee TV from 5 October 2007 till 11 April 2009. The show was produced by AK Films. Plot The show is based on a tale of an '' ichchhadhari'' ''naagin'' (a female snake who can change form at will) named Amrita. She transforms herself into a woman to take revenge from the Singh family, which had killed her parents (king and queen of the ''Naag'' or snake community) to get the valuable ''Naagmani'' (snake gem). While dying, the queen ''naaginn'' instructs Amrita to take revenge from the killers and get back the ''naagmani'' in their community so that she can give back life to her parents. In order to fulfill the wish of her dying ''naagin'' mother, Amrita transforms herself into a human being to take revenge. And then she gets married into the same family whose members had killed her parents. But the dilemma is that her duty as a wife and her love towards her human husband Arjun comes in the way ...

Ichchadhari Naags
Ichchadhari naag (female: ichchadhari naagin) are mythical shape-shifting cobras in Indian folklore. They are great devotees of Lord Shiva. Legend A common male cobra will become an ichchadhari naag (male shape-shifting cobra) and a common female cobra will become an ichchadhari naagin (female shape-shifting cobra) after 100 years of tapasya (penance). After being blessed by Lord Shiva, they attain a human form of their own, have the ability to shape-shifting into any living creatures and could live for more than a hundred years without getting old. Negin ( fa, نگین: ə'giːn is a Persian word. It means a rare diamond or stone, and also refers to the gemstone on a piece of jewelry, such as a ring or necklace. ''Nagin'' ( ''Female Serpent'') is a 1976 Hindi-language horror film, produced and directed by Rajkumar Kohli, under the Shankar Movies banner. It stars Reena Roy in the titular role alongside an ensemble cast, including Sunil Dutt, Feroz Khan, Sanjay Khan, Rekha, Mumtaz, Vinod Mehra, Yogeeta Bali, Kabir Bedi, Anil Dhawan, and Jeetendra; its music was composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. ''Ichhapyaari Naagin'' (''Beloved Desire-Serpent'') is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language romantic fantasy television series starring Priyal Gor, Mishkat Varma. Daniel Steven Nagin (born November 29, 1948) is an American criminologist, statistician, and the Teresa and H. John Heinz III University Professor of Public Policy and Statistics at Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College. Education Nagin received his B.S. in Administrative and Managerial Sciences and M.S. in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University in 1971. He later received his Ph.D. from what is now the university's Heinz College in 1976. Career Nagin served as the Deputy Secretary for Fiscal Policy and Analysis in the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue from 1981 to 1986.
