NET (an initialism of News and Entertainment Television, stylized as NET.) is an Indonesian free-to-air television network that was launched on 26 May 2013. It replaced Spacetoon on terrestrial television. The channel's programming is focused towards family and young viewers. History In 2012, PT Net Mediatama Indonesia was established. In March 2013 the company acquired PT Televisi Anak Spacetoon (Spacetoon) by purchasing 95% of its shares before the company was wholly acquired in May 2013. On 18 May 2013, NET started its trial broadcast using Spacetoon's frequencies on terrestrial television, limiting the latter broadcast to pay television. Wishnutama Kusubandio (born 4 May 1970) is a former Indonesian journalist. He was co-founder and CEO of NET. Mediatama Television, from founding on 18 May 2013 until his resignation on 22 October 2019. He served as Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy under Joko Widodo between 23 October 2019 and 22 December 2020. Early life and education Wishnutama was born in Jayapura, Indonesia on 4 May. ( ar, سبيستون or ) is a pan-Arab free-to-air television channel that specializes in animation and children programs. It began broadcasting on 15 March 2000 and it is headquartered in Dubai, UAE with offices in Riyadh. The channel targets children from 4 and up. Its late night block Space Power is targeted at teenagers and young adults. The Spacetoon company also maintains a video-on-demand app called Spacetoon Go. The Spacetoon company has had two now-defunct channels in the Arab world, Space Power TV and Spacetoon English. The main Indonesian channel began airing on 24 March 2005 in Jakarta. 2015 Indonesia Super League
The 2015 Indonesia Super League, also known as QNB League for sponsorship reasons, was the seventh season of the top-flight Indonesian professional league for association football clubs since its establishment in 2008. The season was planned to be started in February 2015. It was first officially announced that the 2015 Indonesia Super League would start on 1 February 2015, with verification process for the participants done in December 2014 but because of the reduction to participants to 18 teams, it was planned to start either on 21 or 22 February.
