Martin Hussingtree is a small village situated between Droitwich Spa and Worcester in the county of Worcestershire, England. It is north of another village called Fernhill Heath. It is situated on a junction of the A38 and A4538. A public house called The Swan is located just north of the junction. Its name derives from two separate manors: Meretun (meaning farmstead by the boundary) and Husan Treo (boundary tree of lands belonging to Husa, a personal name). Martin, Kentucky
Martin is a home rule-class city in Floyd County, Kentucky, in the United States. The population was 634 as of the 2010 census. History Martin developed as a coal mining community in the early 1900s. Its first post office, established in 1910, was named "Bucks Branch" after a tributary of Beaver Creek, the stream that runs through the city. In 1913, the community was renamed "Smalley" after a local landowner, Smalley Crisp. By 1915, however, the community had been renamed "Martin" after the postmaster, Martin Van Allen. Martin, Georgia
Martin is a town in Stephens and Franklin County counties in the U.S. state of Georgia. The population was 381 at the 2010 census, up from 311 in 2000. History Martin was incorporated in 1891. Its first settler, Henry C. Black, was the Air Line Railroad agent at its station (set up in 1877) at the junction of Red Hollow Road and the railroad.
