Mard Ki Zabaan
''Mard Ki Zabaan '' is a 1987 Bollywood film starring Dharmendra, Jackie Shroff, Poonam Dhillon and Kimi Katkar. The film was a remake of the Telugu film ''Yuga Purushudu''. Plot Ram Chauhan makes a living as a farmer and lives with his brother, Laxman. He falls in love with wealthy Laxmi Sahay, much to the chagrin of her father, Raghupati, who breaks off all relations with her. His anger does not subside even when Laxmi gives birth to a son, Vijay. When Raghupati announces that his sole beneficiary is going to be Shrinath, Laxman opposes this action, is assaulted, and eventually Ram ends up getting killed, Laxmi get separated from Vijay, who ends up being adopted by an other man, who renames him Rajesh. Manhar Udhas is a Hindi and Gujarati language singer and Bollywood playback singer. Early life Manhar Udhas is the eldest son of Keshubhai Udhas and Jituben Udhas, and the elder brother of singers Pankaj Udhas and Nirmal Udhas. He completed his mechanical engineering training in Gujarat and moved to Mumbai in the late 1960s to look for a job. He was interested in music since childhood. His brother-in-law, who was making Gujarati film in Mumbai, introduced him to Music Director Kalyanji Anandji. Udhas used to hang around Kalyanji Anandji to help them in song recording. Once singer Mukesh was not immediately available. So it was decided to dub song in the voice of Udhas and later on Mukesh would sing over it.
