Mackay Cutters
The Mackay Cutters are a semi-professional rugby league football club based in Mackay, Queensland. They compete in Queensland's top rugby league competition, the Queensland Cup. The club was admitted to the Queensland Cup in 2007, alongside the Northern Pride, and first competed in the 2008 season. John Doyle (rugby League)
John Doyle (born 31 July 1977) is a former professional rugby league footballer who played for the North Queensland Cowboys and the Sydney Roosters in the NRL. Background Born in Rockhampton, Queensland. Doyle was educated at North Rockhampton State High School. John played junior rugby league for Yeppoon Seagulls. Playing career After retiring from football to live in Queensland, he signed a 1-year deal at the end of the 2005 season after Ricky Stuart contacted him to play with the Sydney Roosters in the National Rugby League. He signed for another year with the Sydney Roosters, however in late February (2007) during training camp he had decided to retire due to ongoing knee problems. Anthony Seibold
Anthony Seibold () (born 3 October 1974) is an Australian rugby union coach, and former rugby league coach and player. He is currently defence coach with the England national rugby union team, and coach for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles NRL team. Seibold played rugby league for the Brisbane Broncos, Saint-Esteve, Canberra Raiders, London Broncos and Hull Kingston Rovers. After retiring, he moved into coaching, and was head coach of the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the 2018 NRL season, and of the Brisbane Broncos from 2019 to 2020. He moved to rugby union and joined England in September 2021. The Burleigh Bears are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in Gold Coast, Australia. They compete in Queensland's top rugby league competition, the Queensland Cup. The Northern Suburbs Devils, or North Brisbane Devils, or often simply referred to as Norths for short, are a rugby league club representing the northern suburbs of Brisbane, Australia. The Sunshine Coast Falcons are a rugby league football team based on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. They compete in the Queensland Cup and their home ground is Sunshine Coast Stadium. The Falcons are currently affiliated with the NRL team Melbourne Storm. History The Falcons were originally the Winfield State League representative team for the Sunshine Coast. Queensland Residents
The Queensland Residents rugby league team is a representative rugby league team consisting of players who compete in the Intrust Super Cup (Queensland Cup) competition. They currently play an annual fixture against NSW Cup Representative Team, often as a curtain raiser to a State of Origin game. The team is administered by the Queensland Rugby League and regularly played its home matches at Suncorp Stadium, until 2015, when they starting playing at Brisbane's Langlands Park (now known as Suzuki Stadium). Redcliffe Dolphins
The Redcliffe Dolphins are a semi-professional rugby league club based in Redcliffe, Queensland, Australia. Founded in 1947, they were accepted into the Brisbane Rugby League (BRL) premiership competition in 1960, and since 1996 have played in the Queensland Cup. The Redcliffe Dolphins thrived in the BRL. However, the 1988 admission of the Brisbane Broncos team in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition caused the decline of the BRL. Although a separately licensed Dolphins (NRL) team is scheduled to compete in the fully professional 2023 national competition, the Redcliffe squad will continue to play in the Queensland competition.
