Bruno Luzi (born 30 May 1965) is a French professional football manager and former player who played as a forward. He is heavily associated with Chambly, a club founded and run by his family, having seen five promotions with them as a player, and four as a manager in 30 years at the club. Managerial career Luzi joined his family-run club FC Chambly as a footballer in 1989, the year it was founded. He became the manager in 2001, taking over the reins from his brother. In 2019, Luzi helped Chambly get promoted into the French Ligue 2. On 1 May 2020, he resigned from his post, stating it was time for the club to look at something else. On 7 May 2020, he reversed his decision, stating he would stay due to the expressions of support from staff, players and supporters. The club was relegated back to Championnat National at the end of the 2020–21 season. Giuseppe Cozza-Luzi
Giuseppe Cozza-Luzi (24 December 1837 – 1 June 1905) was an Italian savant and abbot of the Basilian monastery of Grottaferrata near Rome. Biography Cozza-Luzi was born in 1837 at Bolsena in the Province of Rome. In early youth he entered the ancient monastery of which he became abbot in 1882. Pius IX was attracted by his scholarship, as was later Leo XIII. In 1898 he was freed from all official cares and devoted himself to his beloved studies. He won distinction by his edition of several ancient Vatican manuscripts and was also learned in the history of art and in archaeology. He died in Rome on 1 June 1905. Luzio Luzi (sometimes Luzzi or Luci), also known as Luzio Luzi da Todi and Luzio Romano (died late 16th century), was an Italian painter, stuccoist, and draftsman of the High Renaissance era favoring the Mannerist style. Biography Luzi was born in Todi, and started his painting career as an assistant to Perino del Vaga. He was mentioned by Giorgio Vasari in his ''Lives of the Most Excellent Painters, Sculptors, and Architects'' as one of Perino del Vaga's most important assistants, specializing in ''grotteschi'' and ''stucchi''. He worked with del Vaga in Castel San Angelo, Rome, and in Palazzo Doria, Genoa. In 1545–1547, both del Vaga and Luzi were listed as master painters with a number of assistants. Mario Luzi (20 October 1914 – 28 February 2005) was an Italian poet. Biography Born in Castello, near Sesto Fiorentino, Luzi's parents, Ciro Luzi and Margherita Papini, hailed from Samprugnano (later Semproniano). He spent his youth in Castello, where he started his primary school. In Florence he studied at the ''liceo classico'' Galileo, and also in Florence he obtained his degree in French literature with a final dissertation about François Mauriac. This was an important period for Luzi. He met poets such as Piero Bigongiari, Alessandro Parronchi, Carlo Bo, Leone Traverso, and the critic Oreste Macrì. His first book, ''La barca'', was published in 1935 and in 1938 he started to teach in high schools in the cities of Parma, San Miniato and Rome. Patrice Luzi (born 8 July 1980) is a French former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. The longest stay in his career was his three years with Liverpool, which came to an end when he was released by the Anfield club in June 2005. He then signed a contract with the Belgian side R.E. Spiridion Lusi ( el, Σπυρίδων Λούζης, Spyridon Louzis, it, Spiridione Lusi, german: Spiridion Graf von Lusi; c. 1741 – c. 1815) was a Greek scholar, diplomat, politician and naturalized ambassador of Prussia. Biography Spiridion Lusi was of Greek origin. He was born on the island of Cephalonia in 1741, at that time a possession of the Republic of Venice. He migrated to Italy where he resided for many years and was educated in the Greek College at Venice, and later at the University of Padua. He was eventually sent as Venice's minister to London, and in Prussia and Berlin. From 1763 to 1765, he translated the four volumes of a translation of Lucian from the Greek language into Italian, in four volumes published in London and Venice in 1764.
