Ann Lee (August 8, 1918 - August 19, 2003) was an American businesswoman and actress. Early years Born August 8, 1918, in Amarillo, Texas, Lee was the daughter of James William Lee and DeMetres Thacker Lee. She grew up on the family's ranch north of Amarillo and was educated in Amarillo schools. She attended Amarillo Senior High High School and developed an interest in Little Theatre while she was a student there. She also studied violin and piano in high school and played in the Amarillo Symphony Orchestra. Lee's father opposed her desire to be an actress. In 1983, she said, "An actress was nearly the worst thing he could think of, and he said he'd rather see me herding sheep, which was definitely the worst thing a cattleman could think of." She attended Amarillo College and graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor of science degree in speech. William Lee (born October 8, 1954) is an American writer. He is the author of three books. He is a former member of the San Francisco Chinatown gang that was responsible for the 1977 Golden Dragon massacre. Biography Lee grew up in San Francisco's Chinatown, and went to Marina Middle School, Galileo High School and was a student majoring in psychology at San Francisco State University when he joined the Chung Ching Yee, also known as the Joe Boys. Although not indicted, he was questioned by homicide investigators about the 1977 Golden Dragon massacre. The massacre was one of the deadliest in San Francisco History, for which five other Joe Boys were jailed after injuring 15 people and killing 5 others. In 1988, Lee was an employee at ESL when former employee Richard Farley fatally shot seven people and wounded four others in a mass shooting at its headquarters. John Bernard Lee (10 January 190816 January 1981) was an English actor, best known for his role as M in the first eleven Eon-produced James Bond films. Lee's film career spanned the years 1934 to 1979, though he had appeared on stage from the age of six. He was trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Lee appeared in over one hundred films, as well as on stage and in television dramatisations. Anne Hill Carter Lee (March 26, 1773 – June 26, 1829) was the First Lady of Virginia from 1791 to 1794 as the wife of the ninth governor, Henry Lee III. Anne Carter Lee
Anne Carter Lee (June 18, 1839 – October 20, 1862) was the fourth child and second daughter of General Robert E. Lee and Mary Anna Custis Lee. She grew up at Arlington House on her family's plantation. During the American Civil War, she stayed with relatives at Ravensworth Plantation and White House Plantation. She and her mother and sisters were placed under house arrest by Union troops in 1861 before being allowed to cross over Confederate lines to join her father in Richmond. Lee suffered from various health conditions throughout her life and died of typhoid fever at the age of twenty-three. She was buried in Warren County, North Carolina, where she died.
