Iran

Parviz Fannizadeh
Parviz Fannizadeh ( fa, پرویز فنیزاده, January 27, 1938 – February 24, 1980) was an Iranian actor, film and television star. He was one of Iran's first method actors. Fanizadeh is best known for his roles as Mash Ghaasem in '' My Uncle Napoleon'' aka '' Daii jan Napelon'' and Hekmati in ِ''Downpour''. Career Fannizadeh was born and raised in Tehran. He had a passion for acting and started his career at an early age. He graduated from the Iranian Academy of the Dramatic Arts in 1961. In 1966 he played his first role. He won the best actor prize at the Fifth Iranian National Film Festival ''"Sepas"'' in 1973 for portraying Mr. Hekmati in Bahram Bayzai's film '' Downpour'' (''Ragbar'') (1972). Mohammad Reza Golzar ( fa, محمدرضا گلزار , born March 21, 1977) is an Iranian actor. Early life Mohammad Reza Golzar was born on 21 March 1977 in Tehran in a family of Azerbaijani origin. His close friend Aria Sajadi helped him with his acting skills. Career Before starting his acting career with ''Sam and Narges'', he gained fame as the guitarist of the Iranian music band, Arian Band. He is now a singer of the Rezzar Band led by Hamed Baradaran. Faegheh Atashin ( fa, فائقه آتشین; born 5 May 1950), known professionally as Googoosh ( fa, گوگوش, ), is an Iranian singer and former actress. One of the most popular and prolific entertainers in Iran, her career has spanned over six decades. Googoosh has enjoyed significant popularity since the beginning of her career, ultimately becoming a cultural icon inside Iran and abroad. She is mainly known for her contributions to Iranian pop music, but she also starred in a variety of Persian movies from the 1950s to the 1970s. He won three Crystal Simorgh Awards for his performances in ''The Train'' (1988), ''Misty Harbour'' (1992), and ''The Rain Man'' (1998). Leila Forouhar ( fa, لیلا فروهر, ''Leilâ Foruhar'') (born 23 February 1959) is an Iranian pop and classical singer. She was a child star, acting from the age of 3. Jahangir Forouhar (; May 24, 1916 – November 6, 1997) was an Iranian actor. Biography Forouhar was born in 1916 in the city of Isfahan. His father was Mustafa Khan Davam al-Saltanah. Mohammad-Ali Fardin ( fa, محمدعلی فردین, 4 February 1931 – 6 April 2000) was a prominent Iranian actor, film director and freestyle wrestler.
