Lawrence Sanders
Lawrence Sanders (March 15, 1920 – February 7, 1998) was an American novelist and short story writer.Author Bibliography Archive.org/ref> Life Lawrence Sanders was born in Brooklyn in New York City. After public school he attended Wabash College, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then returned to New York and worked at Macy's Department Store. In 1943 he joined the United States Marine Corps and was discharged in 1946. Sanders was a former magazine editorial writer and later turned to full-time fiction writing. He wrote his first novel, ''The Anderson Tapes'', in 1970, at the age of 50. It deals with a plot by a group of criminals to rob a luxury apartment building. In 1971, Sanders received an Edgar Award from the Mystery Writers of America for best first novel. His Archy McNally series was continued by author Vincent Lardo. Archy McNally
Archibald "Archy" McNally is a fictional character created by bestselling novelist Lawrence Sanders. He is the protagonist of thirteen novels, seven by Sanders and six by Vincent Lardo, who took over the series following Sanders' death in 1998. Archy is the ''Son'' in the law firm ''McNally and Son, Attorney''. Thirty-six years of age when the series begins, Archy lives in his parent's home (a "third floor suite: bedroom, sitting room, dressing room, bathroom") and is the head (and sole member) of the firm's ''Discreet Inquiries'' department. Archy is employed as a private investigator for the firm's clients, often working in tandem with Sergeant Al Rogoff. Timothy's Game
Timothy's World Coffee (a.k.a. Timothy's) is a large Canadian coffee roasting company and chain of coffeeshops. Origin and background Timothy's was founded in 1975 as a retailer of premium roasted coffee beans by Timothy Snelgrove and his wife Teresa Snelgrove. The company was originated as a business-school project Snelgrove undertook while studying at the University of Western Ontario. As the company expanded, it evolved its retail offering to include brewed coffee. The first Timothy's was opened in a mall in London, Ontario. Timothy's was purchased by Ian and Becky McKinnon in 1986 who further expanded retail locations and created a wholesale coffee division. Timothy's also became a roaster partner of Keurig and began producing single serve K-Cups for use in Keurig's line of single serve brewers.
