Kissyfur
''Kissyfur'' is an American animated children's television series which aired on NBC. It was produced by Jean Chalopin and Andy Heyward and created by Phil Mendez for DIC Animation City. The series was based on a half-hour NBC special called ''Kissyfur: Bear Roots'' and was followed by three more specials until its Saturday morning debut. The show ran for two seasons between 1986 to 1988. The show follows the adventures of Gus and Kissyfur, a father and son bear who had joined the circus. One day, the circus train derails and the bears escape to a new life in the swamps of Paddlecab County, somewhere in the Southeastern United States. There, they protect the local swamp's inhabitants from the hungry, bumbling alligators Floyd and Jolene. Kissyfur and his father use the skills they have acquired from the human world to create a boat tour business transporting other animals and their products down the river. Ed Gilbert
Edmund Francis Gilbert (June 29, 1931 – May 8, 1999) was an American actor, with extensive credits in both live-action roles and voice work in animation, although he was better known for the latter. Stuart M. Rosen (June 26, 1939 – August 4, 2019) was an American voice director and voice actor. History Shortly after graduating from California State College, Long Beach, Rosen got work as a production assistant at KCET. He wrote and starred in the TV series '' Dusty's Treehouse'' from 1968 to 1980. Russi Taylor (May 4, 1944 – July 26, 2019) was an American voice actress. She is best remembered as the official voice of Minnie Mouse from 1986 to 2019, and was notably married to voice actor Wayne Allwine, the voice of Mickey Mouse, until his death on May 18, 2009. Terence McGovern (born May 11, 1942) is an American actor, television broadcaster, radio personality and acting instructor. He is best known as the original voice of Disney character Launchpad McQuack from ''DuckTales'' and spin-off ''Darkwing Duck''. Animation is a method by which still figures are manipulated to appear as moving images.
