Khairatabad
Khairatabad is a neigbbourhood in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is a mandal in the Secunderabad Revenue division of Hyderabad District. This is a Zone in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. There are five circles in this zone namely Mehdipatnam (12), Karwan (13), Goshamahal (14), Khairatabad (17) and Jubilee Hills (18). There are four wards under this Khairatabad circle, they are Khairtabad (91), Somajiguda (97), Ameerpet (98) and Sanathnagar (100). Danam Nagender
Danam Nagender (born 9 August 1958) is an Indian politician and Member of the Legislative Assembly from Khairatabad Assembly Constituency, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He joined (TRS) Telangana Rashtra Samithi in 2018. He was the Senior Leader of Congress Party in Hyderabad. He was also Minister for Labour, Employment, Training & Factories, Industrial Training Institutes & Health in United Andhra Pradesh. He had represented the Indian National Congress party. Nagender won his seat in the 2009 Andhra Pradesh State Assembly Elections. He lost it in the 2014 assembly elections. Khairtabad Mosque
Khairtabad Mosque is in Khairatabad. Today Khairtabad is a well-known locality built around the mosque. The area had become a major business and IT hub of Hyderabad, India. History Khairtabad Mosque was built by Khairunisa Begum in 1626 AD, also known as Ma Saheba, daughter of VI Sultan Muhammad Qutb Shah (1612–1626 AD). She built the mosque for her tutor Akhund Mulla Abul Malik. There is an empty domed building adjacent to the mosque. Hussain Sagar
Hussain Sagar (alternatively referred to as Tank Bund; ) is a heart-shaped lake in Hyderabad, Telangana, built by Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah in 1563. It is spread across an area of and is fed by the River Musi. A large monolithic statue of the Gautama Buddha, erected in 1992, stands on Gibraltar Rock in the middle of the lake. It also separates the city centre of Hyderabad from its neighborhood Secunderabad.
