Kairo Block
Kairo block is a CD block that forms an administrative division in the Lohardaga subdivision of Lohardaga district, in the Indian state of Jharkhand. History Lohardaga was made a subdivision of Ranchi district in 1972. Ranchi district was split into three districts namely Ranchi, Gumla and Lohardaga, in 1983. Maoist activities Lohardaga has been identified as an “A” grade highly Maoist infested district. Kuru, Bhandra, Kairo, Kisko, Jowang and Senha police stations are totally affected and Lohardaga police station is partially affected. The Maoist outfits are mainly interested in extorting the bauxite mining and transport industry. The police force has been trained to take on the Maoist outfits and has been extending support at important points. Kairo is a village in the Kairo CD block in the Lohardaga Sadar subdivision of the Lohardaga district in the Indian state of Jharkhand. ''Kairo'' is a first-person exploration/puzzle game developed and published by British studio Locked Door Puzzle, Richard Perrin's independent studio. Kairo is set in a world of brutalist architecture which the player must explore to solve the puzzles contained within. Gameplay ''Kairo'' is played from a first-person perspective and has no additional controls beyond the ability to look around and navigate the environment. Interaction comes in the form of pushing objects, standing on switches or the environment reacting to player movement. Story There is no dialogue and very little text in the game. The narrative comes entirely through environmental story-telling as the world is filled with clues and hints towards the player's purpose. Kairo (film)
is a 2001 Japanese techno-horror film directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa. The film was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival. The movie was well-received critically and has a cult following. An English-language remake, also titled ''Pulse'', debuted in 2006 and spawned two sequels. The script was also adapted into a novel of the same name by Kurosawa himself. Plot The plot centers on ghosts invading the world of the living via the Internet. It features two parallel story lines. First story Michi Kudo (Kumiko Asō) has recently moved to Tokyo and begun working at a shop that sells plants. Kairo (band)
Kairo was a Mexican pop vocal group established in 1993 as a trio made up of Paul Forat, Francisco Zorrilla and Eduardo Verástegui, a future actor. As members left, starting with Verástegui in 1996, they were replaced with others like Gabriel Soto and Roberto Assad, who both joined in 1997, and Paulo César Quevedo in 1998. The band folded in 1999. Career Kairo was conceptualized by Toño Berumen as an all-male trio boy band in 1993. Kairo's first single was "En los espejos de un café" based on the Italian group 883 (band), 883's hit "Nord sud ovest est". The song gained great popularity and was followed by the release of the first album, ''Signo del tiempo'' (meaning Sign of the times). Other singles from the album included "Háblame de tí", "Pérdoname" and "Te amaré". The follow-up album was ''Gaudium'', released in 1995 and resulting in singles "No nos rendimos", "Si te vas" and "Dile que la amo". Two examples of ''kairō'' , , is the Japanese version of a cloister, a covered corridor originally built around the most sacred area of a Buddhist temple, a zone which contained the '' kondō'' and the ''tō''. Nowadays it can be found also at Shinto shrines and at ''shinden-zukuri'' aristocratic residences. The ''kairō'' and the ''rōmon'' were among the most important among the '' garan'' elements which appeared during the Heian period. The first surrounded the holiest part of the '' garan'', while the second was its main exit. Hand warmers are small (mostly disposable) packets which are held in the hand and produce heat on demand to warm cold hands. They are commonly used in outdoor activities. Other types of warmers are available to provide soothing heat for muscular or joint aches. History The hand and foot warmer was first patented by Jonathan T. Ellis of New Jersey in 1891, though no evidence exists that it was ever produced. The first commercially produced hand warmer was created by Japanese inventor Niichi Matoba. Matoba received a patent for applying the principle of an oxidation reaction that produces heat by means of platinum catalysis. He then devoted his time to researching how to make the product suitable for practical use. In 1923, he manufactured a prototype of his device naming it HAKUKIN-kairo (HAKKIN warmer).
