Juva ( sv, Juva, also ) is a municipality of Finland. It is located in the Southern Savonia region some North-East of Helsinki. It was founded on 19 January 1442, and is the oldest parish/municipality in Finland whose exact date of birth is known. At the time, it was only the second parish in Eastern Finland, and later, several other parishes were separated from it, such as Sääminki, (present-day Savonlinna), Kuopio, Pieksämäki and Joroinen. Ruoska (in Finnish "whip") is a Finnish metal band from the Juva municipality. Biography The beginnings, ''Kuori'' and ''Riisu'' (2002−2003) Ruoska was formed in 2002 with some of the same members from the comedy rock band Natsipaska. They released their debut album '' Kuori'' the same year. ''Radium'' and ''Amortem'' (2004−2007) In 2005, ''Radium'' was released. Ruoska recorded '' Amortem'' in 2006.
